I joined E & A at the end of June. I had been thinking of trying this for years but, something always held me back for some reason or other. I really wanted to broaden my social circle, so I finally made the commitment to join. I don’t regret the decision at all. I was a little nervous at first, going to my first event. The host was friendly, greeted me and introduced me to others upon my arrival. I immediately felt welcome. I have attended so many different events since joining. Everyone is very nice. I attended the Labor Day weekend up in Maine. Being a new member I was able to get to know other members in a short amount of time. We had a blast! I just wish I signed up sooner!

11/25/23E&A never gets old! I joined a little over two years ago and never have I regretted my decision. In addition to the recurring events each month, there are always new events that bring members together in a unique and fun way. The recent Mixology class at a member’s establishment is a perfect example. The BIG event on the horizon is this year’s NYE party in Boston! Event manager Shannen has put together an event that is sure to close 2023 and usher in 2024 with a bang! Join now and we’ll see you there!!! You won’t regret it!!!9/4/23We had a fantastic Labor Day weekend at Pine Lodge in Northport, Maine! Shannen did an excellent job finding a house and location that offered members so many options fun options. We kayaked, enjoyed a private sail on a schooner in Camden, had a luau, bonfires and s’mores, enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and best of all, we enjoyed the company of old and new friends! Kudos to Shannen for creating another great event and adventure enjoyed by all!May ‘23Joining E&A Boston was one of the best things I have ever done for myself! I’ve been a member for almost two years and have made some amazing friends. I’ve also done so many fun events and gone on several adventures! Fun times out at restaurants, wineries, breweries, game nights, ball games, bowling, axe throwing, ropes course, hikes, Boston Harbor cruises, weekends away at a dude ranch in the Catskills and “glamping” in NH’s White Mountains are only a few of the many scheduled events that have kept me busy and having fun. I’m always looking forward to the next event to share good times with old and new friends. 🙂

This Club is so great!! I wish I joined sooner. The people are so nice and so much fun. I’ve made lots of great friendships and connections. Plus I never knew some of these places we’ve had events even existed. Like the hysterical S%!t faced Shakespearian Improv play last night.Such a great variety of things to do. I’m no longer stumped when I’m looking for fun places to go or other single people to go with.As far as the membership process and fee, Totally worth it!!!! No point in paying for dating sites to do nothing but surf on your couch til you actually, if at all, meet someone, friends or otherwise. Plus, it protects you from scams and catfishing.Sometimes there’s so many events, I just can’t do them all and when I miss a good one I kick myself for not going.The people come from all over and are do nice.

Events and Adventures makes life so much more interesting. I joined as a member in late summer/early fall last year and quickly made tons of new friends and have had all kinds of awesome experiences. The cost is a little expensive depending on which membership you go for but they do have payment plans and clearly outline everything and go over the contract with you before you agree to anything. After a few months, I started “hosting” events (basically I sign people in, get to new members, and introduce them to others as continuing on with the event as I myself am a paying member as well).I noticed a few of the reviews talk about hosts but don’t seem to understand that we’re regular members too!Each city gets one events manager in charge of the schedule and members and then they can assemble a team of hosts to assist in sign ins at each event.When I initially joined, it was made clear off the bat that some events cost money – especially the trips – which I thought was completely understandable.Since joining, several of the friends I’ve made have found significant others within the group and there are also people who joined just for the fantastic friendships that can be created with it!I highly recommend joining E&A and have attached a few example photos of different places we’ve gone and things we’ve done. There are hundreds of members and hundreds of opportunities to have fun!EDIT 11/24/23: I’ve been in the group two years now and still love it as much as I have since day one! I’m planning on renewing my membership soon because I have never been happier! I have more friends and a better social life than ever before. There’s never a lack of things to do and it’s easy to sign up for events, even at the last minute.

I’ve been a member for a few years now, and I’ve made some of the best friends I’ve ever had. I now go out and feel comfortable with new people and do all kinds of activities. Best way to get to know new people and have a great time in a low pressure environment 🙂I highly recommend joining if you want to make friend that can last a lifetime !!

I am a member of the E&A Boston club. I had joined E&A post-covid with the intent of meeting like-minded single people who like trying new experiences and activities. I have been in the club for almost 2 years now and it has been a positive experience. As someone who likes to try anything at least once, over the last 2 years I have attended different events ranging from brunches, dinner nights, bowling, axe-throwing, pickleball, hiking, escape rooms, halloween parties, friendsgiving, breweries, wine tasting, whiskey tasting, cocktail nights, comedy nights, dart throwing, plays, movie nights, cigar clubs, bakeries, dog friendly events, Kentucky Derby parties and many more. There is a wide variety of events on the E&A calendar every month, and the best part is that it is all planned for you. You just need to sign-up and show-up. The club also does international trips for those who like to travel and 3 day trips over long weekends like labor day and memorial day. I recently did the labor day long weekend trip to Northport, Maine which was a lot of fun. E&A had rented a huge house on the water for the group. There were fun activities like schooner sail, kayaking, luau dinner, pool and hot tub to lounge in and trip to a local winery. The best thing about my E&A experience has been the fact that I found out about so many local places in Massachusetts that I was not aware of and would not have discovered, had it not been for E&A. The hosts at all events have been very nice too and everyone in the club is friendly. I would recommend E&A to anyone who likes to try different things and let someone else worry about organizing their social life.

Yes, the membership fee is expensive, as others have mentioned. BUT it is truly worth it as the members are an amazing group of individuals who enjoy trying new activities, fun outings, and vacations together. Shannen does a fantastic job filling the calendar with various activities. No matter the event, members always discuss what future events they are signed up for with the excitement of when they will see each other again.Labor Day weekend, 2023, was my first vacation with the group. Shannen rented a beautiful house and organized a private schooner sail, kayaking, and a luau. We laughed till our abs hurt, and we had tears in our eyes.

I joined E&A about 3 months ago and I will say that it was a great discussion. I was (like most) skeptical with the whole process of signing up. But I’m glad I did. I have gone on about 10 events. Meet new ppl each time and built new friendships. And the members have been greatto the point that i feel like i have know them forever. Which allows you to be yourself around them and not worry about judgment. The concept of this group is great. It gives you a way to meet ppl in different settings making it easier to connect with them. The hosts have been very knowledgeable, organized, and welcoming. And the fact that activities have touched different areas of interest makes me look forward to what’s to come

I recently signed up for Events and Adventures Boston. On Monday I went to salsa dancing at the Anchor in Charlestown. On Thursday I went to karaoke at Kings In Burlington. And on Saturday I went to Martha’s Vineyard. These advents were well organized using the GroupMe app. The members are able to communicate with each other regarding parking, where to meet, who has arrived and who needs to cancel. All the members that I met were very friendly and welcoming. I am excited to attend the pool party event this Saturday!

Such a blast!! Recently joined in on the event for archery dodgeball and left with only good things to say. Very organized and welcoming community. Such a great way to meet people and try new experiences at the same time. Shannen led this event gracefully and energetically! I cannot recommend enough!

A plethora of events to choose from. All events are well-organized and planned superbly by Shannen, the Boston Manager. A great option for trying something new, meeting new people, or just having fun. Well worth the time. The staff does a wonderful job.

I joined in September and, of course, I was hesitant due to the fee for joining and then the event fees. I have not regretted that decision. I have met so many wonderful people who have become fast friends. Since you go to events that you like the people you meet also like those things. Win win. Once you join you have to engage with others. We were all new members once. We know it’s scary meeting new people. Just say hi. The others will do the rest. Update! I just went on the memorial day weekend trip and had an amazing time! Everyone is so nice!

I joined the original E and A years back and was so disappointed when it closed down. When its resurgence was announced, i was very excited. And it certainly met, surpassed expectations. I have met a lot of great people so far. Definitely worth the membership fee.Update: it’s been a year since I joined and the NEW E and A and it keeps getting better and better. It’s my second family, my home away from home.

I joined after losing a partner to get myself out of the house, make friends & connections and see & experience the city I now live in. The value of the membership more than outweighs the cost, I’ve made connections that feel like family, I’ve met a wonderful man and I’ve experienced more of Boston in the past 6 months being a part of E&A than I had in the past 3 years since moving here.

E&A was exactly what I needed after the funk I went through during my recovery from an illness that affected my brain and mobility. Besides my amazing family, maybe jority of the people in my life somehow vanished. I basically had a year of isolation during my recovery and then the pandemic started right as I was ready to live again. So glad I discovered E&A. I went skydiving during my second month. Loved it!!!! Best feeling ever!!!!! I don’t think I would have ever done that outside this group. I haven’t had a single week go by without me attending events since I joined. I’ve met amazing people! It’s great feeling like I belong. I am so excited about what’s to come in the upcoming year. I’m hoping to keep my weekly event streak going. I’m not ready to skip a week of fun events and adventures anytime soon. Thank you E&A 💕

I joined earlier this year and glad I did. Not only have I met many new people but also went kayaking, horse back riding, bowling, goat yoga, etc. I have not gone on any international trips yet but have gone on several weekend trips. The trips are well planned and you need only show up and have fun. This is a great way to meet new people, get out and socialize with other people looking to have fun.

I joined several months ago and I am glad I did. At first I was feeling like I was too old for this group. Im generally the oldest at the events but everyone I have met has been so friendly that it doesn’t even cross my mind anymore. The ages and backgrounds are so diverse and what I have experienced is that there is so much to learn from people of a different generation so its actually a plus. I am a very active person and I enjoy doing activities with others that have similar interests and there are so many events to choose from, there is something for everyone. I have done several events and have met such great people and have enjoyed making friends along the way! Being single can be depressing on holidays and long weekends because usually my attached friends are doing their own thing, so I try to go on the weekend trips and I have amazing memories already from those trips! From Zip-lining to horseback riding and kayaking to trivia events it’s been a blast! So glad I joined!

I have been waiting for a while after joining to give a true review. E&A has given me more than just planned events to attend, it has given me the opportunity to meet true friends. Moving back to MA and not having the social circle as I did at my previous home, I tried E&A to get out of the house and meet people (especially after the quarentine). From day one, I have meet the nicest people. But, it is more than that, the members you meet enjoy the same things as you do, want to talk, have fun, and eat good food together. 10/10 – would definitely recommend!

I joined over a year ago in July when the club was first starting. It started slow but it has picked up. Do I like every event? No but there are now plenty to choose from. I feel like this group is something you get what you put in. I went in just looking for friends and new experiences and to actually have a decent social life. I put myself out there and I got more out of it than I wanted or could have expected. Yes it is a lot of money but to me it was worth every penny.

My experience with events and adventure is unique one because I’ve not gone on one or signed up yet. unlike a lot of people that have spent their money and gone through it, I’m different, I read the reviews if this was truly a bad place there’d be nothing but bad reviews but instead there’s some good mixing reviews. this sounds like something that has pros and cons and this can be good experience of what you put in to it. If your like me you have a few friends but have a hard time meeting people and alot of places that you go to in boston you’re going to have to spend all your money and go through all this alone. Let me tell u cuz going through this on a Friday night on the couch alone is sad at least for me you think maybe sometimes this could be worth itinstead of spending Saturday nights alone on your couch in your pjs vs I could be having the time of your life with some friends which to me is a lot in my book. I’ll be looking more into it I don’t make a lot of money so I don’t think I can even afford this but when I first saw this I was alone in the couch I thought this could be a lot of fun I don’t have a lot of friends I sit at home a lot and I felt so lonely and then I saw this I thought it really spoke to me I’m curious to try it because I been wanting to meet people without apps which is unusual for people but not unusual for me. I find that events and adventures sounds kind of special because for once it’s not an app it’s for meeting people face to face i find that kind of unique I want to see this place succeed I like to suggest and offer some ideas to help out on the customer service front I been working in retail customers service for the past 15-20 years so I know a lot about how people work and what they want , expect and deserve. maybe offer some plans that are free for people that are in are low income, maybe also make it that there is no hidden fees so that people won’t be angry when they find out there are fees that they didn’t even realize cause the people weren’t up front, make everything clear crisp and precise so that people know exactly what they’re getting, and lastly you know this is a place that’s supposed to care about people and part about caring about people is realizing that not everybody can make up to $2,000 to spend on a event some people are just trying to get by and want to meet people without worrying about breaking the bank and I want to see this place succeed so you know try to make it more affordable for people because I think this place has something to offer and don’t want to see this place fail.

I joined E&A Boston August 31st and decided to jump right in and go to an event on September 1st. I don’t regret that decision because it helped me meet new people. I’ve gone to many different events since then and have met so many different types of people. I usually try to do the free events or the ones under $30 but once in a while I’ll spend more for an event I really want to do. They have everything from Karaoke to taking a trip to different places all over the world. When I go I usually end up having a lot of fun and we end up going to do something else like going out to eat after the event to keep the conversations going.

Although I haven’t found my soulmate, I’ve made lots of lifelong friends.Speaking of going to different countries, I’m going to Japan in the Fall. I anticipate it’s going to be an awesome trip. I also just went to the Celtics playoff game with E&A.

Events and Adventures is awesome. It’s a social club where you get to meet a bunch of new people at every activity you attend. There are tons of different options you can choose from every month. There is always a good variety of activities that anyone can be interested in. I have met a few people that I keep in touch with. The event manager, Michelle, is very easy to talk to and very welcoming. Every event has a host that helps to coordinate activities and they always make sure that no one is left out and that everyone is having a great time. I am so happy that I joined Events and Adventures.

Events and Adventures is as wonderful as I had thought it would be based upon my interview with staff. There is no pressure at all, you participate in events which you choose and just go be yourself. I was accepted immediately for who I am and there has never been a feeling like I need to present myself as anything other than who I am, which is completely different than the dating scene. I have done things and gone places that I likely wouldn’t have done or gone, and enjoyed doing so with like minded people who simply want to enjoy each other’s company and enjoy the events. I’ll reiterate, since it’s very important to me, there’s no pressure with E&A, go have fun, do things and go places you normally wouldn’t do or go and be yourself, it really is that simple.

There are some reviews that are rather negative however, I would have to say that for me it’s been a very positive experience. Is it pricey, yes, a little but, the people you meet, experience you have, and memories you make are priceless. There is no pressure, easy going experience. The greatest part is you don’t have to coordinate or ever do these events alone.

The club is what you want to make of it, with different things to do essentially every day of the month. With just a little effort, this club and the people in it can literally change your life.

I just got back from the Memorial Day camping trip and it was fantastic! I loved meeting folks from Minneapolis. The campground was great. I enjoyed the activities and the food was excellent. I met new friends and got to know people I met before better. This club is exactly what I was looking for!!

I have been a member for several months now. There are a lot of quality events, some not so popular events and a ton of trips you can go on here. None of that would matter if it were not for the great people who are also members and go to the events. The event hosts are all awesome making this a great place to go do things with people who will become your good friends.

I joined E&A a few years ago to expand my friend pool, and get out to do things I wanted to do that I had no one to do them with. Since then, I’ve made a bunch of great friends, jumped out of an airplane, gone to locations in and around the city I wouldn’t have otherwise got to, and go on multiple camping trips a year. It’s a lot of fun, that I would recommend for anyone.

I just shared something on yelp but I guess I will do it here as well.All I can really say is that joining the club has been such a positive addition to my life. I was born and raised here in the city and through this group I have been able to learn more and explore more than I ever knew about my city. I have made some friendships and connections with like-minded people who just want to enjoy what this city has to offer. Its been a year since I joined and I have done things around this city that I don’t think I would have done on my own but have grown with these connections to know that there is a lot more to do and that I am capable of doing thanks to this group. I am not originally from Chicago, so I joined E&A as a way of getting out and having fun with a group of friends without the stress of planning every single thing. It has 100% met that goal for me – I have done everything from going to museums downtown to applepicking in Wisconsin. An added bonus – I ended up meeting someone at an event and we hit it off and have now been dating for over a year! As for the club demographics, most members are in the 30-45 yr old range, although there are people of every age range. The club has grown and become more diverse since I joined, which I really appreciate. Different people go to different types of events, so I always suggest mixing it up to meet the most members!

I would recommend Events and Adventures to anyone looking to try something new!Here’s the thing….you’re going to scroll down this page, and see other reviews from people who may not have had good experiences. I can’t speak for them…but I can say that when I first signed up, I was nervous as hell. I almost didn’t go to the interview, I was nervous to talk to people, nervous to go to my first event….but I went anyway.I can honestly say that over the past (almost) two years, I have crossed so many things off my bucket list, and have met so many new people. My favorite events have been skydiving, the awesome camping trips, and the New Year’s and Halloween parties!Yes, there are fees, yes some of the events have a cost…but you have to do ZERO planning. As an event planner, it’s so nice to be able to just show up to a fun event and be able to enjoy it, and not have to deal with the hassles of organizing and planning it. And there’s always new people to meet!I’ve met some people that have become some of my closest friends, and have also met an amazing guy through going to these events, and we have been dating for just about a year now.I will say this…it 100% depends on your mindset going into it. This club will NOT solve all your problems, or force you to talk to people. But it DID push me out of my comfort zone, get me to try new things, and by keeping an open mind, I have met people from so many different walks of life, with so many different perspectives.It is ALL about what YOU make of it. I would hands down recommend this club to everyone looking to meet new people, try new things, and to those that are willing to keep a positive, open mind about trying new things and talking to new people. I really enjoy all of the things I’ve been able to do in this club. So many people to meet and so many things to do. I originally signed up because I wanted to do the international travel! I have yet to do that because I’ve been having so much fun doing everything else they have to offer. if you are looking for something new and willing to go in full hearted you will love this and have no regrets

So glad I made the decision to sign up with E&A. It has expanded my social life in ways that have been incredibly positive. Ivey got me set up and was thorough with explaining everything and answering my many questions. The events and the people have all been great and I’m looking forward to the travel. I work an insane amount of hours and really felt like my social life was suffering because of it. All of my friends are married or have moved and I was really struggling…this group has been amazing!! I’ve been a member of Events and Adventures for a year and a half. The people I’ve met have been AMAZING!! ANY time I go to an event one of my friends will be there. The places we’ve visited are fun and varied. I’ve made pottery projects, painted, played volleyball, learned new card & board games, went hang gliding, camping, gone out for brunches & dinners, and I’m looking forward to sky diving next month.

If you are new to the city or just looking to get out more, this is a great option. E & A has an array of events each month for all tastes and ages. I have been a member for a year and met some great people. I’ve also had a blast. Whether it is getting out after a hard day at work or setting out for a new adventure, I’ve always enjoyed the options. I’ve done everything from camping, to opera to theatre to wakeboarding to full moon firejam. This list doesn’t even include the amazing international trips like the Artic, Costa Rica, Thailand, etc.

Great way to meet people! Whether you’re looking to date or just make new friends, Events and Adventures provides a common ground from all over Chicago/Chicagoland to meet and mingle. Your experience is only limited by the events you’re willing to go to, which are wide ranging from adventurous excursions such as traveling to Thailand or Morocco and skydiving to casual board game nights and pick-up games of beach volleyball. I joined E&A for several reasons: I wanted to meet new single people – done. I wanted to try things I have never tried before – done. I wanted to be able to go to events and not have to worry about planning, preparation, and logistics – done. I wanted to make lasting friendships – not done yet (my fault as I stopped going to events for a while) I wanted to meet someone special – not done yet but I didn’t expect that to happen over night. I have been a member for a little over 7 months am looking forward to many of the activities the club has planned over the next few months. I have also suggested activities that the club has put on the calendar the very next month. The bottom line (as with anything you get involved in) you get out what you put in.

I joined this group because I was tired of being a 3rd wheel with my current group of friends. I needed a fresh start with some new faces and it was the best decision I could have made for myself at that time. One of my favorite things about this group is being able to meet new people at every event I attend and yet still able to see familiar faces that I enjoy seeing. I joined E&A just over 2 years ago. I can honestly say the experience has changed my life. I was pretty shy and reserved when I first joined, but being in the club helped me crack out of my shell. I’ve become a bit of a social butterfly over the past couple years. The people in the club are really amazing. The vast majority of the people are super friendly and welcoming. After two years, I still meet new people at every event I go to. And there are a lot of great events too. I’ve been able to do some things I would have never had the chance to without the club. Things like Trampoline Dodgeball and Bubble Soccer, which are both tremendously fun. I wasn’t even aware these activities existed until I joined E&A. On top of all that, I’ve found that the event coordinator, Alex, has been extremely accommodating. The level of customer service that I’ve received from Events & Adventures is really uncommon these days. They have always tried to find a way to work with me. I would highly recommend this club to anyone who is looking for more in their social life.

Events and Adventures Chicago is amazing! One of my favorite events that I have come so far was hiking at Morton Arboretum. I met a bunch of new people I had never met before, as well as saw people who I have become friends with from other events. At this event, we hiked the trails of Morton Arboretum. We saw their colossal rock that is claimed to be as big as elephant! We hiked for 8.5 miles that day. It didn’t feel like it because I was among friends, new and old. What a wonderful way to bring people together for an event in nature.

I really do enjoy this group being an outsider to Chicago. As long you are willing to be outward, friendly, and easy-going you will find at least some level of social engagement at their activities. Mostly I’ve enjoyed the events that I’ve attended. Michelle, the manager, is freaking amazing and congenial! It is certainly a superior alternative to online dating matchups.Its dues are a serious expense for my own budget. A portion of the events are out of my price range (divorced, single father).The group at times seems geared toward a childless, middle class income or higher, with a significant level of disposable income. Reality, in my experience you need to live in the city to reap the maximum benefits of this group. I live on the far northside and that has made the facility and expense of reaching many events a bit tenuous. They do not allow kids under any circumstances, please be mindful of that if you do.

Events & Adventures is a lot of fun! Great way to meet new people. They offer group trips around the globe with other single people, and they have chapters across the country. It’s a club, and a little pricey, but it’s a nice way to try new excursions for single people. There are small events like restaurants and bar get-togethers, and big events, like Halloween/NYE parties and sports/theater outings. I traveled to New Zealand and Australia with E&A, made new friends all over Chicago, and got to try hang gliding with a group of new friends.

I joined around 6 months ago, and I’ve met some great new people! I’ve also gotten the chance to do things I would never do on my own. I’ve always been an adventurous person who’s willing to do things I find fun by myself and I still do, but E&A has allowed me to do some new things that I wouldn’t have even begun to know how to set up by myself. I’ve only had one event that wasn’t worth it, but I’ve been able to sign up for lots of virtual event and meet people across the country as well as right here in Chicago. I think this club was the right decision for me, but I can see that it wouldn’t be for everyone!

I joined Events and Adventures (E&A) to hopefully meet that special someone, but also to increase my pool of friends as my two good friends moved out of state. Admittedly, I am still looking for the first, but E&A has surpassed my expectations with the later. I have done so many things with E&A that I would never have done alone (i.e. sky diving, hang gliding, rapids), and found things to do in Chicago that I never knew existed (i.e. Violet Hour, Trunk Club). If you are on the fence and can afford the cost of entry I would say take the leap, you will not regret it, I know I have not!

If you sign up for it, be prepared to use it for the duration of the contract you sign. If you don’t, you’ll find yourself stuck with a rather large bill and little to show for it. The events and stuff they do really are cool, but I decided to stop going after a few negative interactions with some of the members. Can’t wait to be free of large monthly payments to them!

I joined E&A in June 2024 and my experience as a member has been amazing. I’ve tried experiences I would have never done on my own. Our events director works hard to create meaningful experiences for everyone so there’s lots to choose from. I was outside of my comfort zone at first but quickly met welcoming members that made me feel right at home. Just came back from our Labor Day Weekend Bash in Galveston, Texas, and I was very pleased with the fun activities arranged for us. So looking forward to taking another longer trip organized by E&A. I already recommend this membership to several friends.

Wow, went on the incredible 4th of July Stars & Stripes Boat Bash. Great eats with fabulous people both new to Events & Adventures and members i have gotten a chance to know as a member myself. We swam forever and even jumped or dove from the diving gate on the top deck until dusk. Enjoyed music and fireworks from a nearby site without having to sit in traffic before or after the great firework show. The Events & Adventure hosts got everyone aboard easily and as speedily as possible. Definitely an event I would do again.

I was member number 35 in 2006. On month 3, I met Alan at a Christmas party. We had a spark and 1.5 years later we married. 1st couple to marry in E&A. And all the friends we met then, are friends to this day. We went on an Alaskan cruise last year, and Cabo this year (we didn’t go). Highly recommend this group !

Hey y’all! I’ve been a member for one year and E&A has been such a blast! I’m new to Texas and more than anything I wanted something to do and somewhere to go. I’ve done a few activities each month and there’s always something to satisfy a wide variety of interests. I’ve explored a variety of restaurants, explored the history of my new city, visited jazz clubs, gone to the theater, done a naughty paint & sip, played a role in a murder mystery, discovered pickleball and electric shuffleboard, thoroughly enjoyed the virtual book club and even gone skydiving!! I’m more creative than adventurous, so there’s a ton of outdorsy stuff I haven’t even explored yet.I love the way the events are set up: show up, sign in, get introduced to new interesting people in the area, have a blast and make a friend…or just have a good time and go home. Seriously, it’s that easy. And that’s just the local events. E&A has an entire section dedicated to international travel and the itineraries are perfect for making lifelong memories.Real talk, it’s a business so of course there’s a cost. You can keep your money and figure out what to do for fun OR pay the money and have an entire calendar of daily events laid out on a silver platter for you. I’m here for the silver platter treatment!!

Belle did a great job getting us AYCE seats at a TX Rangers game that really suited the event but also the social aspect of the group. E&A was so much fun with host Jay. We did the WINE WALK ON THE STRIP (DALLAS) and had so much fun. It was nice to do an event that was inclusive of the LGBTQIA+ and feel like I had an event especially for me. Jay was one of the best host making by sure we had wristbands to identify our group if we got lost and thankfully it worked as I did end up posting the group a few times. We not only got to have wine but we ended the night having karaoke at Sue Ellen’s. This was such a fun night and we need more events like this for sure.

After a previous relationship that I was deeply invested in didn’t work out, I retreated into my shell for awhile. Then, when I felt ready to try come out of that shell, I still wasn’t really ready to jump back into dating. I wanted to start being open to meeting new people and finding new possibilities, but was honestly still feeling gunshy from how hard it was to recover from that previous relationship . E&A was the perfect solution for me! Once I joined, I started to meet other singles like myself, while doing so many new and fun things i wouldnt have done otherwise. Memorial Day, Labor Day Camping Trips, Bingo to Wine Walks to Axe Throwing to Hay ride in Fall to seeing Holiday Lights to Skydiving. It’s good to meet a variety of Folks. And you might meet the Love of your Life. It’s LGBT friendly as I am and been a member since 2018. There’s different options of Memberships when joining, pay monthly, yearly, or Lifetime membership. I’ll start by saying that my time with Events and Adventures has been great. I have met friends who have become family.I started off as a member in Houston and lived far from downtown where most of the events were held so I didn’t feel like I was getting an accurate account of what E&A had to offer. Then Covid happened, and I went on a break while the world figured things out.When I moved to Dallas and activated my membership here, I felt like my time with E&A drastically improved. I was able to go to a lot more events and it was really worth my time here. There are membership fees to join, kind of like a country club membership of sorts. Some events have an additional cost, but there are a lot of events that are free, so you can just go and mingle.My main advice for people looking to join is to assess the amount of time and effort you can put into going to events and interacting with people. You’re only going to get out of E&A what you put into it. If you don’t go to events, you don’t get the value of what E&A is. Keep an open mind and try new things, you’ll never know who it is that you’ll meet and grow to know.

I first learned about E&A from a family member who had recently signed up. She told me about all the activities she had done and had planned (eg. fencing, scavenger hunts, escape rooms, dancing, dinners, trapeze classes, archery, etc.). I joined soon after, knowing it would get me out of the house; doing fun things and meeting new people.Joining E&A DFW has turned out to be a total game changer for my social life. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and friendly. Belle, the DFW Events Manager, stays on top of all the things going on around the metroplex; putting together an incredibly diverse schedule of activities each month. There is something for everyone and all you have to do is show up. I have made lifelong friendships while doing bucket list worthy activities. I highly recommend.

If you are looking to have fun and meet new people, events and adventures is the place to be. When I first moved to Texas, I didn’t know anybody and had just gotten out of a bad relationship. I was miserable and needed to get out of the house and meet new people. I had met a few people, but didn’t want to keep asking the same people to go out and do things. Then one day a friend said to me, you should join events and adventures, you are very sociable and enjoy going out and doing things. I then saw a post on Facebook and heard it on the radio so I finally called to inquire and decided to join. Events and Adventures has changed my life! I’ve met so many wonderful people! If I’m bored all I need to do is look at the calendar and go to an event or pick up the phone and call somebody in the group. There is an event every day of the week and you can do as many as you want or as little as you want. I am now finally happy and at peace with myself and my life thanks to Events and Adventures and all the wonderful friendships I have developed through the group!

Events & Adventures (EA) has been a life changer for me. I’ve met new amazing friends all thanks to EA. The month is full of fun activities to choose from for everyone. I absolutely love the international trips. There are a lot to pick from through out the year. I recently was in the Galápagos Islands with 35 wonderful other single people, and had such an enchanted time among unique wildlife. I’ve also taken several fantastic ski trips, visited Yellowstone and Grand Tetons, and tube the Guadalupe River. Whether you take an international or domestic trip, you are certainly in for an absolute epic adventure. I am thankful to EA for helping spicy up life again.

E&A has been a game changer for assimilating into DFW life. I moved to the metroplex after grad school, and while working from home is convenient, it makes it hard to build a social life. My one year with E&A has absolutely been filled with incredible memories, fun, and dozens of adventures. I especially enjoy camping trips around Texas with the Houston club, along with active events like kickball and sand volleyball. I live out west and appreciate that the monthly calendar has events all around the metroplex and Fort Worth. Although I greatly prefer the in person events, I’ve come to enjoy the monthly online book club and am eager to discuss the murder mystery we just read. In June, I‘ll be going to Iceland with the group and currently have friends diving in The Galapagos. Highly recommend joining E&A; there’s literally an event for everyone !!! 💙❤️ 🏕️🏐💃🎭

I was the DJ for Events & Adventures Dallas New Year’s Eve Masquerade Party. What a fun event!! The turnout of singles was amazing! Signing up for E&A has been one of the best things I’ve done for myself in a very long time. I was new to the Dallas area and didn’t have any friends yet. I joined Events & Adventures mid-July of this year and was skeptical at first because of the negative reviews I read. Also none of my friends had experience with E&A. However, after my “ interview” and looking at the calendar I was excited to join and glad that I did! I have made a lot of new wonderful friends and done things I would never do on my own. My favorite activities have been ifly (indoor sky diving) the Immersive Game Box (we did Squid Games), the Game Show (we were on a team and played Wheel of Fortune and the Price is Right) the dinners, playing ping-pong, pool and Pickleball! They have activities every day of the week so there is always something fun to do. You just show up! Also enjoyed the Glamping event held over Labor Day where we stayed in air-conditioned cabins and got to do some hiking and kayaking. Looking forward to ringing in the New Year with my new E&A friends at this year’s Masquerade Ball and also looking forward to going on one of the international trips I’ve heard good things about. I joined as a Lifetime member and don’t regret it and look forward to many more Events & Adventures!

I moved recently from Argentina, not knowing hardly anybody.I have really enjoyed the active games and sports, you just have to register for what you like to do, it is so easy.There are different kinds of events every single day, so I can usually participate in 2 or 3 per week that I do like, and don’t even bother with events that aren’t my style.I have fun, meet people, get out of house and computer.I am a very introvert person, so imagine if you are more outgoing.For me it has been a game changer.

I’m really glad I took a leap of faith to join Events & Adventures. Remember, most people only write reviews when it’s time to complain about something & forget to write when all is well. Case in point: I just now thought to write a review after nearly 2 years of membership. This group seriously changed my life for the better. Also, yes it’s not cheap, but when was anything worth having ever cheap? IMO it’s worth every single penny & I don’t know about you, but broke people aren’t who I want as part of my crew anyway. :)Before E&A, my “friends” were always “busy” whenever I wanted to do something. Now, I just show up to an event & have people to do it with waiting & ready to go. I’ve met the closest girl friend I’ve had since maybe college through E&A.The only areas of improvement I’d like to see are more new events rather than repeats like axe throwing & whirlyball, but at least there’s lots of other cool events to choose from! I also wish there were more men, it’s a largely female-dominated group so not a great environment for dating lol. But if you’re just looking for a new friend group I highly recommend!

Most definitely NOT a SCAM!!!! I have been a member of E&A in both Denver and Dallas and have made life long friends through this club. Most recently I have met my person through the club too! The best description I’ve heard is that it is similar to joining a Country Club. There are membership fees to join, and then events (some, not ALL), do have an additional cost. The club is about connecting singles together who have similar interests and who want to get out an explore the different things the city has to offer! They also do domestic and international trips. All of the research and planning is done for you too- so you know you’re going to have a great time. You do have to be active in order to benefit from the club though. I love it and recommend joining to all of my single friends

Our Event Coordinator is “Best in the Business” and having her coordinate events has been a true blessing.As a Single Guy, these events allow me to get out of the house and socialize with other members. I highly recommed Events and Adventures!! I signed up 4 months ago after a really bad break-up, with the hopes of meeting new people and getting out of the house. E&A has far exceeded my expectations!!! It’s nice to have events already planned out and all you have to do is show up. I have met some really great people, whom I would have never met if I hadn’t joined E&A. I joined E&A a little over a year ago. The events they plan have been great! It costs a bit of money to join and I wish I had done the lifetime vs the 2 years I did, but it is what it is. I didn’t join to date, but to meet singles and do fun events, which is what I get to do! The hosts are wonderful and the rest of the singles (dating or not) have been very welcoming and nice. The only thing I didn’t realize when joining was that a lot of events still cost money outside what I paid to join. I wish there were more free events and not ones where I pay for myself at a bar or restaurant or have to pay for the event itself. When I CAN afford to do those other events, they’ve been awesome (just did the Halloween Bash and it was so much fun!). I don’t regret joining at all and appreciate the time and effort it takes to coordinate these events. I just need to watch my wallet, so I feel a little left out sometimes.

I’m nearing the end of my first year with E&A. Although I live a very busy life, there was always something available to the group if and when I had down time. I have met some great friends through this organization. Belle has done a fantastic job of making sure there are events in the northern part of DFW as well as in Dallas and Fort Worth respectively. She is always open to suggestions for new events to try and doesn’t reschedule the same events over each month.

I moved to the Dallas area and didn’t know anyone, so no friends to go out and do things with. Years of online dating sites didn’t produce anything but E&A is people willing to sit and eat a meal with you, play some games, go for walks, whatever your interest is. It is pricier than online dating sites but considering you’re going out with people that have already expressed interest in the event you’re usually in for some fun times. It’s about meeting people, making friends, and maybe finding your soul mate along the way. If not, then you still have plenty of people willing to go out in the world and have some fun with you.

I joined EA Dallas during the pandemic at the end of April 2020. I have made lifelong friends that I would have not met if I would have not joined. The Dallas and Houston event managers are wonderful people and are friendly and engaging. You can make friends in other EA clubs and meet people you just click with and they become your tribe. I do feel like they need to screen people better and it is very expensive to join and there is little time to cancel if you change your mind or if it’s just not for you. If they changed their cancellation policy, I would give a higher rating. People should be given a longer time to decide if EA is for them.

This is an amazing club for singles. They offer a wide variety of events and although some of the more popular events have an additional cost (they are at discounted rates) Kickball and wallyball were favorites of mine and the dinners usually have a north and south location, which makes it easier to attend.The hosts are always upbeat and try to include new members on their first events to feel welcome. It has given me a chance to step out of my comfort zone and do some things that I would normally never try.I am looking forward to the next few months to close out 2023 with this wonderful group of people.

This is an amazing social club for signals. Denvers E&A group is an outstanding and fabulous club, however the photos I’m posting with this review are not only from the Denver activities, I’m also am including photos from the times I have visited the Seattle and Bay Area E&A club events as well with Lake Tahoe being one of the camping events to make a point that once you are a member of E&A you are welcomed and treated like family everywhere you go. Except for the Tahoe scenery, you will not be able to tell which Chapter is which due to the story the smiles and closeness the photo’s present. With traveling the PNW and West Coast for work often, this feature of being a member has helped being away from home base a lot easier to handle. And the friendships and connections I’ve made are priceless and I know will last a life time.The club is certainly what you make of it, in that you get to create the experiences you desire. I highly recommend E&A for what ever your intentions for socializing and creating new connections may be.

I was looking for a safe environment to meet people in 2021 just after my divorce was final. The Co-Vid restrictions were lifting and I needed to get out of my rut. I saw an add on Facebook for Events and Adventures and thought what do I have to lose? The answer was loneliness and boredom. I have done things outside of my comfort zone, met some amazing people and shared many memories that I will be able to treasure forever. There is something for every budget, and every personality. Update… Memorial Day weekend we went camping in Canyon City. It was an amazing weekend! White water rafting, zipline, marshmallow fight by the campfire, theme nights… ugh…. I think I started living again when I joined E&A!LIVING MY BEST LIFE!I joined E&A about 8 months ago so I could even out my work life balance. I went to work and came home. For the most part my friends are married and have kids so it was hard to plan any get togethers.There is a decent membership fee to join, but it’s so worth it when someone else plans everything and you just show up!There are always trips to go on in addition to the local events. I actually took my first international trip ever, to the Dominican Republic in Sept. I finally got to use my passport! I met, and am still friends with so many of the amazing people I met there! The owner of the club was also there and what a super nice cimpassionate and fun guy!!I have made so many new friends and adore them!! I look forward to getting together with everyone and experiencing new things.There are big extravagant exciting parties like New Years, Valentines Day and St Patty’s day. I’m super excited to attend the Memorial Day camping trip!! And the weekly events are a laid back great time hanging out with all of these amazing people!If you’re new, take the time to get to know the people in the club, it can feel odd at first but isn’t meeting new people always a bit uncomfortable in the beginning? I joined May of 2021 and this has been by far the best experience I have ever been involved with. I have traveled all over the world and the United States and I am always very curious to find something new and different to go experience. If you are anything like me then this is the place to go to! The whole experience is like nothing you’ve ever been involved with. You must actively participate to feel how great this club is. There is at least one or two events every day of the week and trips all over the world every month. I have met so many great people, It’s like we have known each other our whole lives. Everyone is so kind and welcoming, even if you’re not an outgoing person, you feel right away that you are part of a group of great people. I’m just going to name a few of the people that really were influential to me but the whole group of individuals influenced me in some way or another, that you really feel a connection with them all. I first met Jocelyn, the director, and Valerie. Two of the most awesome women you will ever meet. They have been with the club for many years and they welcomed me like we have always been friends. Best “LIFE AMPLIFYING” decision I have ever made! The event planner Jocelyn is extremely professional and the events are amazing. The friendships I have formed are priceless. I joined because I wanted to experience outings that I’ve never tried before but would have felt a bit awkward to go it alone. The beauty of it is you get to grow and expand with other like minded enthusiast. You can even attend events for other cities if your traveling or want to venture off to a different city for a weekend. Great group with an awesome coordinator that plans top notch events! Although I live in Dallas and am a member of the Dallas group, my son lives in Denver, so I’ve been to some events and several trips with the Denver group and have had a blast every time. That’s one of the great things about the club; you can go to events with any group around the US. If you’re tired of hanging out with all your married friends and being a fifth wheel or hanging out in a “meat market” bar, join Events and Adventures. You’ll have fun doing interesting things with other singles and maybe even meet someone special, but only if you want to. You definitely get out of it what you put into it!

I have had nothing but great experiences with the Denver club. I recently attended the Memorial Day Camping trip. I was nervous about going and not knowing anyone. However, these fears quickly vanished as the environment was welcoming and I was made to feel welcome by everyone. The hosts had everything planned to make sure that everyone had a great time and everyone was welcome to participate in all activities. It is a private club with an effective screening procedure including background check.Members are friendly and the hosts do their job really well. I joined this club in 2021 and have great time there. It is the club for new landers and people who want to live lives to the fullest.

As a busy, single professional in Denver, that knows I’ve only seen a fraction of what the area has to offer, I’m ok with paying for an event and trip planner. As much as I love my Denver friends, sometimes we just don’t want to do the same things. So I joined E&A. This was probably the best decision I made in 2019 that made my 2020 a bearable year in spite of Covid. I’ve been able to meet some incredible people and go on sweet adventures in Denver, parts of Colorado (including ski trips!), and also house-boating on Lake Powell! And if you’re playing it safe with Covid, there are virtual events, and in-person events and trips do practice precautions as well. I recommend E&A if you’re single and ready to mingle and know you haven’t taken advantage of all that Denver and Colorado have to offer.

I have been a member of Events and Adventures for several years. The pandemic has certainly affected how we live our day to day lives including how we socialize with others. Events and Adventures quickly adapted and started offering virtual events that can be just as fun and engaging as their in-person events! The hosts are always energetic and super friendly. (Jocelyn rocks!!) I was surprised to make real-life connections over this new virtual medium. I highly recommend E&A if you are looking to connect with people while staying safe during this time of uncertainty.

I’ve loved my experience with E&A! The group is great and so is the staff. It’s refreshing to spend time with people of all different ages and backgrounds trying new things. I’ve spent weekends in the mountains, done yoga in the park, enjoyed beer at breweries. Even during the pandemic, virtual events allowed me to socialize with others and feel connected to a community! I’ve been with EA for several years now. I really enjoyed the switch to virtual events on Zoom. I belong to the Seattle club but have done several virtual events with the Denver group. Music themed games and trivia are always a great experience. Jocelyn does really well at keeping the events organized. Most important, she has an upbeat attitude and creates a relaxing and fun atmosphere.

I have been a member of E&A for a year and a half and it’s been wonderful. When I first joined, I did things like glassblowing, hot air ballooning, hikes. Then I discovered their trips. I’ve been to Thailand, Costa Rica, New Zealand and Australia, and rafting through the Grand Canyon. Since we’ve been shut down for COVID, I’ve attended virtual blind dating events, murder mysteries, book club nights. The level of socialization has become deeper and more meaningful. I have friends in other states and countries that I keep in touch with and look forward to seeing at upcoming events. E&A is one of the best groups I have in my life.

I joined Events and Adventures to get out more and expand my circle of friends and that is exactly what happened. My first month I went to 15 or 16 events. The events are great, for the most part they run smoothly, once in a while there is an issue, but that happens, nothing runs perfectly every time. I have met a lot of new people, many of them are good friends now.The club is what you make of it, if you choose to complain and not go to events, you will probably have a negative experience. The club has come a long way in the 3 years they have been in Denver. There used to be complaints, but a lot of those have been resolved. The office staff is great to work with.There is a cost to the club, if it fits into your budget, I highly recommend you look into signing up. For how active I have been in the club, I would have easily spent the same amount of money or more, just going out.

Single mother of two kids in college, all my friends are either married or have little kids….what was I suppose to do? I was nervous going to my first event, but soon found out that everyone there was once in my position, and they all welcomed me with open arms. Since then, I have done so many fun activities that I never would have done on my own, or never would have thought of doing! Yes, I have dated a couple of men in the group, and that was wonderful, but more important, I have developed a group of fantastic friends! I had my first event at the Labor Day Weekend camping trip and have never looked back! I met life long friends and have had experiences I never would have without E&A!! I love the monthly calendar offerings and now the group trips!As a member of the Denver club I get to see all of their weekly events and now have also gone on the Sonoma trip to CA and will be attending the holiday trip to NYC this December!I only wish they had and App in addition to the online calendar as so many of us are busy singles and often out and about but have our phones with us!This is a great group to be a part of and I am checking off all of my bucket list items and having a blast with friends while doing it!

E&A has been a roller coaster. I am a little on the introverted side and signed up for E&A as a way to help me get out of my condo. Once I got comfortable with the group, I found friends that I am going to keep forever.At the events that I attend, there is always someone there to help ensure that everyone feels comfortable.At the more social events, there is always at least one guy who is willing to walk me to my car if I need it. I appreciate the support, especially when I am dressed to the nines and parked in downtown Denver!Like any social club, you will not get along with everyone and it may be awkward at some events. I recommend altering which events you go to each month so you can learn what makes you most comfortable and what makes you want to keep coming back for more.

When I joined Events and Adventures I didn’t realize how much of an impact meeting these people and doing these activities would have on my life. The website on your phone is harder to use and I wish they had an app or a better website made for phones, but other than that you can still sign up and do events easily! It does take time to feel comfortable with the people that have been in E&A for years, but after consistently showing up to similar events on a weekly basis, my friendships with these people have absolutely come a long way. Regardless of your situation, I would highly recommend going with the lifetime membership. You never know what life will throw your way, and having a group of friends that you see on a regular basis to get you out of the house and doing an activity has really helped my mental health. If you travel to another state that also has events and adventures you can sign up for activities in that state as well. So if you move or travel a lot you can still get to do activities depending on where you’re going. I have made some lifetime friendships from this group, I hope you like to play volleyball because we take our volleyball pretty seriously in E&A 🤣!

I joined Events and Adventures about three years ago. I keep leaving and coming back because it’s such a great group of people! I have been able to do some things that I normally wouldn’t get the chance to do like sailing in Colorado which is a very land-locked state. (I grew up sailing and the event that E&A was fantastic!) I’ve even enjoyed the virtual events as you get to meet people from all over the country. I now have friends in Miami, Houston, Dallas, Seattle and Chicago. I even met a guy in Chicago and had a pretty significant long-distance relationship! (While the relationship didn’t work out, we are still good friends.) I highly recommend E&A.The only reason I didn’t give them five stars is because of the price. Some of the events aren’t really “free” as you have to buy your own food, drinks, etc. Overall, though, it’s a really good deal if you want to get out, meet new people and (maybe) meet someone!

I have had a great experience meeting people from all over town and had the opportunity to try things I wouldn’t have normally at different events. Events and Adventures Houston is an amazing social club for singles that has an awesome group of members and an amazing events coordinator (shout out to the Morganizer!) who is an absolute BOSS! Fantastic group to join to have events that are thoughtfully planned out. Great way to make contacts and socialize locally or if you travel out of state, you can join in on the happenings that are offered in that locale. The variety of choices has been pleasing, and so far all of the hosts for individual events in my area have been friendly and inviting. If you want to be playful, have fun, meet others that you might not run into in everyday life, and make connections, then give it a try. Probably not a group for someone who wants to be negative or critical of others.

JUST DO IT! Absolutely one of the best decisions I have made!1. Exactly what I was hoping for.- Seriously, I now have more friends and acquaintances to do more things with. A wide VARIETY of things! He asked me questions about myself, talked about what Events & Adventures is, how it works, how much it cost, the different ways to pay, discounts for paying in full or signing on the first original call vs. waiting. If I remembered his name I would give him a shout out, I just remember he was from Dallas.- The website is easy to use and you can see additional costs up front, I was shown an example of this before I signed up so I fully understood.3. Fun things to do.- Like I said, there is a wide variety of things to do. Something everyday is awesome and sometimes there are multiple things on the same day. In person and some virtual.- I am so freakin’ excited about hang gliding this weekend with the Morganizer and others! Morgan was the host at the first event that I attended and did a great job explaining things.- I’m about to go on a camping trip with the group!- Should I go skydiving next month?!?!?! I can’t decide!- You can leave feedback on events after you attend them so the hosts can improve if needed.P.S. If you don’t pull the trigger before black Friday, do it then. I got a CRAZY AWESOME FREE YEAR added to my contract!!! The deal changes…. but who knows what this year’s deal might be.

I am so grateful for having Events and Adventures be available in my life when I started my membership and participation in October of 2019. Since participating, I have been a member for over 2 years and I am truly enjoying the perks of membership. I got to try out things I have never done before like goat yoga, hiking, adventure courses, camping and more. I also got to meet some wonderful new girl friends. The best part was being able to meet my now fiance, Cliff, on my first hike in November of 2019. I joined E&A in March 2021 and have been enjoying it sooo much!!! I was intimidated when I first joined to get out and socialize with people I didn’t know. But all of the members I’ve met have been friendly and inviting.I recently went on a group trip to Portugal and Spain, which was amazing!!!! There were 29 members on the trip from different E&A groups all of the United States. Our itinerary was great and we got to see a ton of stuff and create new relationships with the other members. I’m already planning my next trip!

I have been a part of E&A group for 2 months now and I must say that I am really enjoying myself! The itinerary line up has been full of entertaining things to do and great ways to meet people. I have not dated anyone specifically, but I have enjoyed the people I have met on the last couple of events. I also like knowing that E&A is a group that has standards in accepting quality people and are thorough in selecting those that are members for my best interests. So while mingling and getting to know others there is no real fear of background checks or worrying about someone’s motives. The people that I have been meeting are very nice and friendly and appear to be a good group of company.This has been a fun experience so far and I am eager to continue to see what adventures are in store for me to discover. I became a member about 3 weeks ago. I am very pleased and happy I made the decision to contact Events and Adventures. Being around other singles and professionals is awesome. I’ve done more in DFW in 3 weeks, with this group of beautiful people, than I’ve done in 5 years living here. They keep it exciting and adventurous. Come join us! You will not be disappointed.

A great club for singles. I’ve been a part of this club for 2+ years now and I’m absolutely loving it. I’m always meeting new people and making new friends. I get to try new things and go to new places that I didn’t even know about. There are a wide variety of different events, so there is something for everyone. The theme parties are a blast. And the best part is there is always something planned for everyday. Sometimes they will plan 2 or 3 different events a day. They also plan and coordinate all the events so all you have to do is show up and enjoy yourself. I strongly recommend this club to all singles!

Strongly recommend this activity club for singles! It is a great way to try new things and meet new friends from different areas of Houston. I never would have done half the things I’ve done with E&A if it weren’t for joining the group. Every event that I’ve been to was fun, and I always meet at least one new person at each event. This club is perfect for singles who want to get out and try something new.

This is no scam be prepared to have a lot of fun and meet new people!! The calendar is full with many options and they even include your pet occasionally. The hosts are very friendly and approachable and there is a number to reach someone all the time. Let;s not forget the food which has been great and always adds to the party. I can’t say enough great things about this club; I joined because I moved to Houston from out of state and knew no one. They worked with me on the monthly dues (poor, fresh outta college 24 yr old). I was struck by how friendly and approachable everyone is. The events are designed to be a laid back, group environment. Very easy to meet/talk to people. I’ve tried things (bubble soccer, archery, glass painting) and gone places (many restaurants, bars, party boats, camping/tubing trips) that I never would have on my own. I’ve met people from many different places, professions and ages, that I never could have in my normal day to day lifeBasically all of my friends (and long-term boyfriend) came into my life directly or indirectly from this club. If you’re considering joining for whatever reason; trying to make friends, maybe meet someone, explore the city, or just to get out of your shell – this club will give back to you, exactly what you put in. It was totally worth it for me!

I joined E&A because I was new to the area and wanted to jump start the, “getting to know my surroundings and make new friends” process. And it worked. The folks at E&A create an amazing schedule of events every month and offer a wide variety of activities, nights out on the town, camping trips, trips abroad, and various sports and other misc. events.Every staff member at E&A is amazing, friendly, and truly out for your success. This group is definitely what you make of it. Whether it’s finding new friends, wanting to get to know houston, or meeting other singles, this is the best way to do it. There is even opportunities to contribute more to the group and offer suggestions for events or start hosting some.I would recommend this to anyone who is new to the area or just needs a good reason to get out. It’s a great way to meet people and try new things.

If you’re looking for somewhere to go to make a genuine connection with others that have similar interests as you, definitely look no further! They encourage to get out of your comfort zone and really give different things a try. It’s the perfect organization to join if you’re new in town and have a hard time making new friends the traditional way. Best decision I’ve ever made.

Joined several years ago. I have seen a lot of people come and go. There are people who are super outgoing and others who are not. Those who have been around for a while, others that are brand new. You will meet a lot people who would otherwise have never met up. I’ve made some great friends. I’ve seen several couples meet, get engaged, and get married within two years. None of the events are set up for dating. This is not a dating club. If you meet someone, hit it off, then who knows, It’s up to you. Some of the events can become repetitive after a while. It’s not perfect. If you are busy, and don’t have time to set up and organize events, this is a great club. You basically sign up and show up, that’s it. There is a point of contact for each event, a host, who will introduce everyone. Demographics are mostly 30’s to 40’s, there are younger and older people as well. You can do as little as you want or as much as you want.

Not what I was hoping it would be, and for $2k+ a year I wished there were more activities and less, go to X restaurant/bar and socialize/drink with the occasional trivia. Also, the amount of online events was also off putting, especially the ones that where locked to only 6 or so people.If your concerned about the other reviews that mention a $50k minimum yearly salary necessary to join, it’s basically there to make sure potential applicants have the money to afford to join.My honest opinion? If you have spare cash, and your only expectation is to meet new people, it’s not a bad place to go.

Overall, I’m glad I joined but it is kind of what you’d expect for this type of group. Pros and cons from a newer member listed below though.I joined in March 2016 and enjoyed it for the first few months. It definitely helped me get out, meet new people, make a few friends, and explore Houston, which was what I wanted from the group.1. It is pricey to join. I joined for 3 years only because it was better deal than 1 year. Not sure what some people complain about with scam reviews or trying to break contacts but I was willing to put up the money and it basically served my intended purposes listed above.2. I will admit that I was surprised that most of the regular group is older than I expected. I was 26 and feel like I was always the youngest. But I met new people at every event and people pop on and off the radar too so if you’re looking to meet someone perfect for you quickly you probably need to be more patient. I’ve actually enjoyed getting to know some of the older members and some are kindly protective over new folks getting ambushed by weird members3. There are still a lot of costs associated with various events but there are also some free events that are covered by the club. Doubt it’s enough to make back your membership fees but I’ve definitely done things I wouldn’t have tried by myself and had a great time.4. I did end up meeting my fiancé through a current member (he was an old member himself) but I’m not sure I would have kept up with E&A much longer if I hadn’t have met him. It’s fun at first but it does tend to wear off and I got tired of dealing with some dramatic personalities that seem to persist in the group.Overall, I’m glad I joined and I had fun. Paying the membership fees up front made me go to more events but it was steep. But it’s great to get you out of the house and doing different things with different people if you’re single! And who knows you may end up meeting a great partner but I wouldn’t hold your breath on that being your sole purpose for joining the group.

Joining this group 6 years ago was one of the best things I’ve done in my life. I’ve had so many wonderful adventures from Kenya to Alaska to Sky diving to glassblowing. The list goes on and on. The dear friends I’ve made will be with me for a lifetime. I love being able to just check the calendar and have something to do whenever I want. Last year I got a personal best and attended 110 events for the year 😎

I have been a part of this social club for a little over 6 months. It has been a fantastic experience for me. I joined for the obvious reasons of trying to meet people but I also wanted to go and do things I have never had the ability to experience by myself. Skydiving? Axe throwing? That fancy restaurant that you have been looking at but to scared to try? I’ve had the ability to try them all! Once you join you can (and are encouraged to) suggest events, attractions and ideas to a very receptive event coordinator. They go out of their way to make sure every idea suggested is considered and tried.TLDR: I recommend this club to anyone trying to find new ways of meeting people and trying new things!

I have been a member for about a year. I joined because I am a social person and enjoy doing different things with other people. At my age (0ver 40 ☺️) it is hard to find people to go do stuff with. Events and adventures is the perfect group for me. I have met so many great people. I always feel welcome at every event. Most recently there was a a Fourth of July party (although it was on July 1st). I cannot tell you how much fun it was! I am so glad I joined E&A! I cannot recommend it more!

I have been a member for 1.5 years now and I have been enjoying it really well. There are many activities to choose from and even if you want to try something they are always taking suggestions to try. I myself love the theatre, concerts, parties for the bigger group of people to get to know but also also the smaller groups when we go mini golf, or movie night, or try a new restaurant. The best of both! You are always meeting new people. Everyone is very welcoming and fun and it’s a great way for me to get out and try new things.

Absolutely worth it. If you’re new to the city, recently divorced, looking for new friends, or just looking for some new experiences, joining this group is a great idea. If you are debating on joining this club I highly recommend it! It showed me how many different activities you can do that I never even knew was out there. The one activity that I signed up for that was my highlight in joining this club was going skydiving! Never thought I’d get the opportunity to do this. Thanks to E&A they made it possible. This was the best decision I ever made! I’m getting out there doing exciting things and meeting some WONDERFUL people. I have made some really good friends in this group. And the best part is that I don’t have to plan anything. It’s an investment, but I think it’s worth it. You pretty much have a personal event planner! There are events every day of the week, if not more than 1 a day. Heather (event coordinator) is super fun and always open to suggestions or requests from members. We just tell her what we want to do and she plans everything for us! Been in the cities for awhile and with my work schedule, I was not finding time to meet others. With this club it takes all the hassle of deciding what to do and when easy. All you do is figure out what days you’re off and sign up for an event that day. They have carpool options for people who dont wish to drive and if you wish to you can catch an uber instead.

I started right before Valentine’s so I was nervous that this would be a bunch of single people that already knew one another and I’d be an outsider in their group. As an immediate disclaimer, I want to say that everyone’s experience will depend on what city they live in and what they’re looking for.First off, I’ve read several reviews saying E&A isn’t providing the types of people that they want to date. I’ll say right off the bat that the ratio of guys:girls in the Minneapolis club is about 45:55, so pretty even. Determining your “dating” success in E&A is dependent on who you’re interested in dating, and who else is in the club when you join.On a different note, the staff is polite and professional. The events coordinator does great work making sure there is actually an event every day. The only time an event is cancelled is if the weather is bad, so if it’s snowstorming or if it’s too cold/hot/windy/etc to do what was planned. I’ve only had trouble getting a refund for an event once, and it involved calling Accounting… as soon as you do that, then you get the refund. But I will say I’ve never tried to get a full refund of my membership.I did experience a decent amount of pressure to join the club, but I decided to take a chance and join, even if the price was hefty up front. Through E&A, I’ve managed to meet and converse with many interesting people that I certainly wouldn’t have met otherwise, and I’ve been able to try tons of interesting activities that I wouldn’t have thought of to try on my own.I will say that from what I’ve read, and from what I understood of my conversation during the interview, it’s hard to back out of the contract once you sign it. Also, the monthly payments are pretty expensive, especially considering the additional cost of specific events. And…. I heard that if you cancel your membership at the end, instead of renewing right away, then it pretty much voids your membership, meaning you’re ineligible for a lifetime membership (lifetime membership = big savings $$$). Joining E&A is definitely a huge commitment, and you need to make sure you’re ready for it both financially, and location-wise.But all-in-all, your Events & Adventures experience is what you make of it. The company and situation are not perfect, but if you have an optimistic perspective, then you can use it to meet new people you wouldn’t normally meet, do activities you normally wouldn’t do, and to have a good time on the weekends and weeknights.

Happy New Year everyone!! I find myself at the start of the new year feeling a profound sense of gratitude. I have been a member of E and A for 1 year, and I am so grateful for the friendships and connections I have made here. They help me to be a better version of myself.But that is not the focus of what I want to say today. I have had the amazing opportunity to participate with E and A as a host. This has given me a behind the scenes look at how things get done in the club. And the biggest thing I didnt realize was how much effort and hard work our Event Manager Meggie Phoenix EA dedicates to us each and every month. She doesnt seek any attention for this because she feels that its just part of her job. But I’m here to share with you all that she goes above and beyond to put together fun and interesting events, get the best discounts possible, and take care of our individual needs in a professional and compassionate manner. The New Year’s Eve party was a huge success, and Meggie is the only reason it went so well. She worked tirelessly on the final details the entire days Friday, Saturday, and before the event on Sunday in preparation. She ran last minute errands to provide subtle amenities and decor to enhance our experience that we probably didn’t even notice. During the party she handled behind-the-scenes issues with the venue to keep things running smoothly. And she genuinely tried to connect with each of us, not out of a sense of obligation, but because she truly cares for us and wants us to have the best experience possible.Meggie, thank you for all your effort. You are an example of hard work, professionalism, and grace. This club is only as good as it is because of you. Thank you for all you do. And I wish you an amazing Happy New Year.

I have been able to meet a lot of great people and try a lot things that I have wanted to do for sometime. They go to shows, do Go Karts, arts and crafts, Glass Blowing, try different styles of food, etc. They really do work hard to ensure there is something for everyone. They even take suggestions which is nice. New Years they had a DJ and raffle for great prizes. If you just want to get out of your bubble and se more of your town, it is a good group to be apart of.

I joined the group to have a reason to get out of the house and have adult time and adult conversations. I didn’t expect to get much else out of the group. There have been a variety of events each month, some of which I never would have found on my own, and found I enjoy some doing some things that I previously thought I wouldn’t but tried anyway because I knew I wasn’t going to be alone doing something for the first time. After working for the last 8 years remotely not having any local friends, I joined E & A to get out of the house and to develop friendships with like minded people. If I met a man that would be my future husband that would be a bonus!There are a variety of activities and a wide range of cost to choose from. I love the hiking and the food events. I have got the chance to explore the wonderful restaurants of my area and discover new areas to hike! I also have seen some great entertainment.The cost is a bit expensive, but it has gotten me out of the house and making new friends and I have found the love of my life, so I have to say it was worth the cost.

The fourth of july party was epic we had a great view of Tempe and great pool. the poolside bar gave us great service.This is an amazing club I have some of the best friends that I have ever had. It’s such a fun and safe group with tons of fun events to join in and the fourth was no exception. Since my friends outside of the group are attached, I found myself with nothing to do or no one to go with. Meggie does a great job putting together a calendar of activities that cross the spectrum from crafting events, outdoor events, and special events on holidays. Many events are free, but others cost. In return, I have options when I want to go out, friends I will see there, and I won’t be the only single. And I don’t have to do any of the planning, reservations, etc.I highly recommend international trips. I have traveled extensively on my own and was apprehensive about the quality, but I couldn’t pass up the Morocco trip. It was everything I could have dreamed of and more! Everything was perfectly planned, from the riads, excursions, and meals.Any questions or concerns I have had have been promptly addressed by Meggie. If I place my name on a waitlist, an opening almost always comes up.

I didn’t know what to expect when I signed up. But it has been one crazy fun ride so far. I have meet a lot of people that I know consider good friends. I have also visited many places in the Phoenix area that I didn’t know existed and now I can’t wait to go back and visit them again. The experiences alone are worth it. There are definitely some draw backs but they are meniscal in comparison to the benefits of being apart of this organization.Update:Been with the club for almost a full decade and my previous review still stands. You get out of this club what you put into it. So if you come with a negative attitude then you will get nothing out of it. If you come with an open mind and positive attitude then the world opens up to you with all the marvel that there is. Just came back from a fantastic Memorial Day glamping trip in Payson and it was amazing. Fresh air, cool temps and an amazing house we staying at. Saw elk roaming the property along with lizards and other wildlife. Super peaceful and breath taking. Lots of fun times with lake day, horse backing riding and the infamous chubby bunny marshmallow eating contest. Hahaha. Not enough good things can be said about the event manager as she puts all of the events together for us to enjoy. Looking forward to the next events which will be amazing and creating long lasting memories for all who are involved.

Best decision ever. I’ve made some great friends and even gotten a few dates out of this group. Had a girlfriend for awhile too. There’s always something to do and always someone to do it with. Every month has a whole bunch of great activities. I’ve gone camping, skydiving, seen Stomp and the Blue Man Group, and eaten at plenty of new restaurants and bars.After reading the other reviews, I’ll add, I’m not an employee or being compensated. I paid the same cost to join as everyone else. The membership gets you access to all the events. Plenty of events are free, but of course if we go out to eat at a restaurant, no one’s paying for your meal, you pay for yourself. Things that involve tickets, like shows, yeah, you get your own, though sometimes we might get a large group rate which is nice. Events are all over the valley and sometimes beyond. Age range is all over, just depends on the types of events you show up to. There are plenty of 20 and 30 somethings in the group, as well as plenty of 40 and 50 somethings.

I moved here in October of 2020 not knowing anyone. No family or friends. The people I was meeting while going out were not really outdoor adventurous people. I love exploring different places to eat, have fun, stay active and mingle. I’ve met so many nice fun people in the meets. I wasn’t really looking for a date, just people to hang with at times. People who like the same things I do. I was shocked at how many members there are. Always meeting someone new as well as seeing familiar faces. Everyone isa character and I always look forward to seeing them and hearing stories or just nonstop laughing. I haven’t been disappointed yet. I also love that there is no pressure to date or stay in contact outside of the group. You’re not obligated to anything but having a good time. I joined for 2 years back in February. It’s nice to see thatpeople actually meet compatible people and I’ve seen quite a few Get proposed to already. I’m so happy for everyone. And I definitely still look forward to the outings. Money well spent investing money and time in creating relationships with quality friends.

I have been a member since 2018, and I will admit it is not something I thought I would do long term, I originally just wasn’t that social. Oh how I was wrong. Once I started going to events and meeting people, it was amazing how fast you become friends and have so much in common. What was even more amazing is how it helped me come out of my social bubble. There is literally an event happening everyday of the week, thanks to Phoenix’s event manager Meggie Roberts. I have now done things I never thought I would ever do(example is painting class), as well as things I love to do with a great bunch of friends. As adults life tends to get in the way, so for me this is a great way to keep socially active as well as the many physical activities. Sometimes you just have to jump in with both feet and see where you land. Personally I am so glad I made that jump.

This is an amazing group to get out, meet people, see new things, and feel SAFE around people who are initially strangers. Moving to a new town as a single parent, I found myself turning into a recluse, which I’ve never been. Add to it the fact that I was sent to work from home. I was a tad nervous on joining but I’m glad I did. I went to my first outing at the Escape Room. I had blast everybody was very friendly and instantly gathered me to come to their next outings. E&A is a great way to meet new people, get out and do things with others, and possibly try new things. It’s really great if you are new to the area, however still a great option if you are a native. Obviously some events are free, and others are not. Not all events are for “you”, so simply choose. Some people participate a lot, some less, or not much at all. It’s life, we all have options and everything isn’t our “cup of tea”.

I’m someone who loves to dive into new experiences and have a great time with friends. Unfortunately, the hustle and bustle of life often makes it challenging to plan get-togethers. Before joining E&A, I frequently found myself at a loss for exciting social opportunities unless I went solo, which wasn’t quite as fun. Ever since I became part of this fantastic group, my life has been a whirlwind of ziplining, hiking, biking, camping, bar-hopping, and so many more exhilarating activities. What’s even better is that I don’t have to worry about organizing anything – I simply need to show up and enjoy the ride. Being someone who usually takes charge of family outings and friend hangouts, E&A has given me the incredible gift of participating in awesome activities without the stress of planning. I am beyond grateful to E&A for all the thrilling adventures and the incredible people I’ve had the privilege of meeting along the way!

I became a member of E&A in San Francisco after moving to the bay area over a year ago and my experience has been great with visiting and seeing new places, meeting new like-minded singles and making friends, overall having great experiences. Our new manager Carissa works hard in finding new venues for events to build new and exciting experiences.

This organization is so fun and definitely worth the investment. I moved to SF and didn’t really know anyone so I joined and I made a bunch of new close friends and a ton of cool people. They have events almost daily and even virtual ones for those who prefer that. I am going to sign up again when my membership ends because the fun and the friends and the memories make it all so worth it! The hosts and organizers are respectful, inclusive and very kind. I haven’t had any problems with anyone bringing drama to the groups either. It is 100% fun! Come join us!

I’ve been a part of E&A for over 3 years now and I must say that joining was one of the best decision I’ve made. Its given me the chance to break out of my routine and be more out going.Not only do you get the chance to join events potentially every day, but you get the chance to do activities that you may not have considered doing before, or at least have gotten the opportunity to do. Since I’ve been a member, I’ve done skydiving, white water rafting, camping in Lake Tahoe, glassblowing, and pottery, along with hundreds of varies social events.And as a social club, you get the chance to meet so many different people. I’ve made so many new friends along the way. Even when they leave the club, we are still friends outside it. We even meet up outside the club to do activities and meet up for dinner and drinks. I can truly say, through the club, I’ve made friends for a lifetime!

Events and Adventures in the SF Bay Area is by far the best group that I’ve ever had the privilege to be a part of. It’s a wonderful mix of people of a large age group ranging from their 20’s-50’s. What makes this exclusive club special is that it creates a very natural environment to meet people while at the same time having a great time doing a ton of different fun events ranging from something as simple as meeting up for drinks at a local bar/restaurant in San Francisco or San Jose to going on international vacations! During my short time with the group (started in June 2018), I have made friendships with many of my fellow members which I know will last a lifetime. Because of the great friendships that I have made here and because of the dynamic of E&A’s business model, I believe that I will meet the woman whom will I will one day marry through this group… This is and expanding my network of friends outside of the ones that I have at my local church are the main reasons why I sought to join this organization. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life!

Ended up in the Bay Area and was looking to meet new people, SUCCESS!!! As with any group of people there will be people you don’t get along with but there are way more that you will. There are events for everyone, everything from after work dinner / happy hours to day hikes to flag football and wine tours even multi day events in Tahoe, Vegas and American River, and abroad. Personally I like the hiking events and its always easy to make it to a happy hour or karaoke night.This club is not free, which means that people actually do put effort into meeting new people, making friends and going on dates. I have been a member for 8 months and have made any great memories and friends, ,If you’re serious about expanding your social calendar I highly recommend E&A

E&A has truly been a great experience for me. I have done more things in the few years I have been a member than I have done in a lifetime. I have gone skydiving… twice. Went to Ireland for St. Patrick’s Day, a tour of Belize’s islands and jungle, wine tasting in Napa, TRAMPOLINE DODGEBALL, and so much more! I met some of my best friends in the club, actually became ordained to marry a couple I introduced, and am now the Godmother to their little girl. I am so thankful for my experience in E&A and I hope that others take the time to make their experiences just as fulfilling.

This organization has changed my life. Prior to joining, I was chained to my desk at work or at home. I would work 10 hour days, 6 or 7 days a week just to keep myself busy. I have met so many great people through E&A, both men and women. I have done so many things that I may have thought of doing but never did. Whale watching, I have been on a safari with wild animals in there natural habitat, been to the ballet, I have done yoga, I have taken three dance classes through E&A which has led me to sign up for private lessons with a female friend I met at E&A.This past week, I went to event three days in a row. Beach Concert on Friday, a hike on Saturday, Kickball and Potluck on Sunday. I wanted also go to a BBQ and Pot Luck on Saturday, but it overlapped with other event.The structure of this group is perfect. It is not a dating service, so you are not stuck if you find the person you plan the evening with is not a good fit for you. Each event has a bunch of single folks hiking, bowling, biking, running, playing frisbee, etc. You participate in the events, you talk with everyone and I have found several folks, both men and women with similar interests as me.After you get to know one another, people get together outside of the group and do other stuff. A book club has spun off of this group, which I belong, there is a running group in the organization that also meets outside of the group.The structure is usually an event like hiking followed by a meal. The meal is sometimes the best part as you able to talk to folks and get to know each other better.There is a lot of camping trips and my big event is White Water Rafting in the Grand Canyon this August. We will spend one in Vegas then off to the bottom of the canyon. I have never done this and I can’t wait for August. Oh wait, yes I can cause there is still of lot of things to do between now and then.That trip was fabulous. I did 7 things that I had never done before, white water rafting, rode a horse, skeet shooting, stayed at a dude ranch, camped, plus two more that I cannot recall at this moment.Love the holiday parties too. The recent Christmas party was fabulous (BTW, since joining this group my daughter tells me I use the word fabulous way too often. I told her, too bad!) Me and 150 of my friends. I picked up dancing while in this group, and I think I danced with every women who attended the Christmas party.The Halloween party was just as much fun.There is a big event about every 3 months.

Events and Adventures is a great place to be. I am usually shy and introverted. After I joined, I am more interactive with others and talk a lot more. I feel more confident about myself and meeting great people. It is always an adventure. Running from dogs or jumping off cliffs. Just kidding.There are so many adventures that are really fun like hiking, paintball, and archery to name a few. They have events for all types of people from watching musicals to extreme sports. Once you get to know people, you have so many buddies to hangout with. If you like to geek out like me, there are nerd talks or even other people with similar interests. This is an awesome place.People make friends, find people to date, and some even get married. Wow… I hope you would join, so I can meet you. I have tried many online and offline singles groups, but nothing compares to the value here.

I have been a member of Events & Adventures for almost four years now. While I have not found a romantic partner through the club, many of my friends in the group have. Six of my E&A friends have gotten engaged or married to people they met through the club just this past year; and I’ve continued to enjoy it for many other, initially unanticipated reasons. I’ve made wonderful friends and checked off more bucket items from my list in the past three and a half years than I did in the last two decades of my life. Yes, the club costs a significant amount, but for me, it’s been well worth it – and no more than many people spend on women’s and men’s clubs that have offices, dedicated staffs, and so forth. The event coordinators of the San Francisco and Santa Clara clubs do an exceptional job choosing an impressive variety of events each month – including cultural or mind-broadening, easy outdoor/athletic, moderate outdoor/athletic, hard-core outdoor/athletic, and food & drink events. You get what you put into it, and I’m still having a blast!

I love this club. I was hoping to change my life, I was a hard working techie, mom, and volunteer hiking docent. There wasn’t much time for me.I wanted to meet new people and do things I had never done before AND I just wanted to pick the event (rather than plan the whole thing). I have had so much fun – trampoline dodgeball, tree planting, comedy clubs, hikes, yoga, museums, playing pool, wine tasting, horse back riding, salsa dancing, river rafting and the best camping trips I have ever been on. I can choose what events I want to do, I have met life-long friends, and had so many “firsts” on trips, hikes, at shows…so much fun…

I have been a member for 3 + years. I always enjoy all new and interesting events on the calendar and some of the re occurring ones as well. There is nothing like sitting at home with nothing to do and you look up the E&A calendar and you basically have 2 calendars in one (santa clara and san francisco) . So you have something to do every night. You get to meet a lot of single people like yourself. Every event is a new adventure.

Hi. I love E&A. It is a place where you get to meet all kinds of people. It is not a dating club but a place were people can come together and meet. Do things that they love or even try something new.I love that I have meet people who do different things in there life then me. I love talking to my fellow members and experiencing new activists every week. When I joined the club I was new to my city and got lost all the time. Now thanks to all the events I have done in the last year I can give directions like a native.I like that I have friends that I can talk to that don’t talk about the same thing every time I see them. That we can also have intelligent conversations about the world.I have also experienced thing I never thought I would have. In the last three weeks I have done five things I never thought I would have from facing my fear of heights on a trapeze to playing dodge ball on a trampoline.This is a club that allows you to show people who you really are if you have the guts to put yourself out there. I truly believe that if you have the guts to try something new. You are going to love this club just as much as you can.

When I joined Events & Adventures four and a half years ago, I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. In fact those were just about the exact words I said to myself as I walked out to my car. I knew that I would start to get off the couch and doing things, but in no way did I expect to meet so many new people from as far away or with as many different backgrounds as I have. Nor did I expect the creativity of the event coordinators. I’ve found some gems of activities to do and done activities at locations that don’t seem the fit (pillow fight on a trampoline dodge ball court anyone?).But the biggest thing that has come that I didn’t expect was to find so many people that I would get along with, and, for some of those people to become friends for life. I’ve been witness to wedding proposals and been a guest to weddings with members of the club. While these moments have been special, it pales in comparison to the experiences and memories that I continue to make every time I go to an event with this club. I can say for certain that it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made to sign up with this club.

Like any group, you kind of get out of it what you put into it. There are definitely some things to work on but generally, the people I’ve met are fun loving. If you take the time to travel and take one of their trips, you can meet a wide swath of people. I went with the Dallas group to Costa Rica and had a splendid time. I was lucky to have such a great roommate and we found opportunities to try new things we’d not done before elsewhere. One evening where there were no plans, several of us decided to take a Salsa dance lesson. Bell and our guide made this happen! That evening and a certain Karaoke night were among the highlights of the trip for me. So, if you go in knowing it’s not a dating service but a way to connect with people, you will likely enjoy yourself. At least on my trip there were definitely more women than men. I can’t speak as to whether the lack of men was a disappointment to the women in attendance, but again, I looked at it as a way to make connections. I think I may hae 3-4 people who may be friends long after this trip. If you have expectations of meeting your forever mate, you may be disappointed. All-in-all, in meeting several regular travelers, I learned that their trips are great. I would encourage you to go. It’s great way to meet new people and get to know them beyond a howdy-do.

I’ve been a member of the SF E&A club for almost a year now. They do have fun events and good mix of people. Tends toward a younger crowd but I have been able to find friends in my age group (50’s). Dating prospects are like any other site- some good some not so good. However I’ve been fortunate to find the lady I am dating now on E&A.

Like a lot of people writing reviews, I didn’t appreciate the initial sales pitch and the non-refundable contract. The club is expensive and a risk to join, *but* I’m getting to try a bunch of things on my bucket list (hot air ballooning, etc.) and meet a lot of new people in the process. A few people have asked me what the difference is between going to a Meetup group and joining Events & Adventures. First, everyone is single and ready to make new connections – platonic as well as romantic. I find people are more available to make connections than in the average Meetup I’ve attended. Second, because you’re paying for a social event organizer, this club is more active than any free Meetup group I’ve been a part of and people are more committed to showing up to events because of the membership dues they are paying. (I think Meetup is a fine option, by the way – I just wanted to try something with a little more activity commitment).

I am really enjoying my time as member of this private club! I joined in July 2015, so I have almost finished my first year. In that year I have made so many friends and met an amazing man through the club. An advantage to this club is having access to all nine clubs calendars! I visit the Bay area at least four times a year so this works great for me! This gives me a chance to know the best things to do in the city without having to do a bunch of research. I just open the San Francisco or Santa Clara calendar and sign up! Now I have used my membership in three clubs! It’s so cool!

The club was full of wonderful people and being a part of it really moved my life forward, but after my time as a host had come to an end, E&A Management tried to remove the funds in my (and others) accounts. I tried to have an intelligent conversation with one of the head honchos, but it was like talking to a spoiled 12 year old. The owner eventually paid me out, but I had seen enough of this company and cancelled.

It’s hit or miss. Some of the events are really good, like the Halloween party was awesome. Great venue, tons of people attend, it was a blast. However on a typical week it’s pretty much drinking in SF, bowling in SB, hiking in EB. I joined 6 months prior to the pandemic-loved the interactions, wine tasting, hiking, skydiving etc. then when pandemic hit virtual book club, film club and cooking nights YUM! It’s fun to just show up meet new people-learn something new or just relax. I’ve been on 1 international trip to Machu Picchu-absolutely fantastic! hiked for 4 days then met up with the other 1/2 of the group. Wonderful people, safe and organized. I was also recently single so I was looking to rebuild my social network of friends and wanted to break the monotony of working full time and actually spend time with people outside of the office.I’m so happy with my membership and I always feel welcome whenever I go to an event. Fun club, good people. My friends outside of the club base all their outings around alcohol so this was a pretty awesome change. I’ve been white water rafting, sailing, played trampoline dodge ball, hiking, camping, disco rollerblading, swing dancing, line dancing, horseback riding (basically naming off my most memorable events, the list goes on.) The membership is less than my bar tabs. I probably never would have made friends with the people I’m hanging out with now because we probably would have never crossed paths. For newcomers, don’t be shy, everyone is friendly. I was nervous when I walked into my first event (volleyball) and everyone seemed genuinely pleased to meet me. I recommend trampoline dodgeball for a first event if you’re athletic (or need to get in shape haha)- everyone gets fired up! Its like initiation 😉 The dating scene is chill, you basically get to know everyone on a friendship basis so dating is easy. Been in the club 7 months so far, loving it.

I have been in Events & Adventures (E&A) for 1.5 years and can say that E&A can be a good way to try new things and meet new people (though you will meet some who are not single). I have attended some really fun events and alternately, there were a few months where I didn’t attend any events because nothing piqued my interest. We recently got a new awesome local Events Manager so I am confident we will start seeing more & more interesting new events on the calendar. But it really depends on your personal activity preferences.While I have generally enjoyed my time in the club, I am still a bit upset by the fact that the organization (at a corporate level) does not have the members’ best interest at heart. When I was diagnosed with COVID last year after the event cancel deadline, I tried reaching out to our event manager at the time to try to cancel, per their policy to not attend events if you are sick. While I did reach out on Friday for a Sunday tasting tour event, no one returned my messages until the following Tuesday (claiming my multiple messages went to spam). The rep Jocelyn concluded that “more advance notice” was needed so “we can do our best” to get me a refund and that “many venues are not willing to refund because they lose profits as well”. If they had at least tried to reach out to the vendor regarding getting my $105 refunded, that would’ve have been better than them just telling me they flat-out weren’t even going to try because they were more concerned about the venue’s or their own profits than the member losing their hard-earned money. Heck, I would’ve even been ecstatic with a credit to attend a tour of the venue on my own since I really wanted to attend this event but they didn’t even TRY to work anything out. That whole situation left a sour taste in my mouth that has dampened my E&A experience ever since.In summary, E&A does deliver on their promise to provide dozens of events monthly for (mostly) single people – just don’t expect them to try to work hard to provide just resolutions to any unexpected issues that may arise.And if you get sick, make sure it happens BEFORE the cancel deadline, since corporate seems to think that that is in our control.

Emeline does a splendid job at organizing the events. I have also enjoyed all the hikes expertly led by Magdalyn. E&A events are a great opportunity to socialize with other singles in the area.

Events and Adventures is a great club to join if you’re looking to do fun things around town and also meeting some very nice people! They even coordinate several local and international trips each year, which is so nice because they do most of the planning for you. They plan more events each month and than there are days, so it’s a really great way to get out and socialize. In that time I got to experience events that I never would have gone to, ate at restaurants that I would have normally driven by, and met a lot of great people that I never would have known otherwise. So coming to the bay area CA was alot nicer with some instant friends and activities. I did the same thing moving to Seattle recently. I joined February 2021 after the pandemic kicked me in the face when I found out my fiancé, who I had been with for 5 years and thought I was going to spend my life with, was cheating on me with a married woman. It was a huge slap in the face after slaving day in and day out through the pandemic as a public servant who didn’t get the luxury of staying home. I felt completely useless and undeserving. I forgot what it meant to love myself and enjoy life independently. E&A has changed my life and provided me with opportunities that I wouldn’t have otherwise even thought of doing on my own. E&A has helped me regain the confidence I needed to enjoy being single and the confidence to feel like I was enough again. Because of E&A I have met some pretty amazing people, some of which have become my best friends. I didn’t join to find my soulmate. I joined to stop being such an introvert and well, I’m going to Italy this summer with some cool people. I never would have left the country before I joined E&A because of my social anxiety and look at me now 🤷🏼♀️😅🖤💯✨

I joined E&A back in January of 2022 and have loved every minute. Like anything, you get out of it what you put into it!Emeline is the coordinator, and she will take your suggestions and put them on the calendar. She works hard to make sure that there is a huge selection of activities to choose from each month that meets all the needs and interests of our diverse group. The Hosts of each event are amazing at making sure everyone is included and is having a good time.If you are looking to use E&A specifically as a “hook-up” you are in the wrong place. This is more of a social group bringing people together in fun and interesting ways. I have made such great “forever” friends while enjoying new activities that I normally wouldn’t have the opportunity to enjoy. Fear not, there have also been quite a few marriages in our group, so a great way to connect with people you wouldn’t normally get to meet.I am looking forward to taking advantage of the travel opportunities too. I have heard nothing but good things about the trips from my friends on their return and am signed up for the Ireland/Scotland trip.Bottom line, if you want to get out and explore the area, do new things and meet people you normally wouldn’t, this is an excellent way to do it!

I’ve been rail riding, I’ve tried blacksmithing, I’ve boated on Lake Union, and I’ve tried at least a dozen new bars and restaurants. Great Group for Singles! I didn’t join just to meet someone and get a boyfriend. I’m happy single but it’s hard to do things when most of your friends are in relationships. Since joining E&A Seattle I’ve checked things off my bucket list (ax throwing) : ) and met some really nice and fun people who joined for the same reason. To just get out and do stuff!I love the local bar scene but I get in a slump and tend to just go to my usual spots. This part is cool because in the last few months I have tried MULTIPLE bars and restuarants that I wouldn’t have otherwise and their amazing!!! Emeline Vuong is the events manager for Seattle and she does a really good job of mixing it up and always providing those bar and brunch and restuarant options. Very popular amonst us singles : ) I went to a virtual game bar this last month. That was awesome!Plus after a year of being shut down due to Covid I feel like I have to learn how to socialize again haha : )

Moving to the Seattle area from Illinois almost two years ago, I had no friends or close family here. I joined Events and Adventures to make friends and explore my new surroundings. I have not regretted my choice since.I’ve met some great people and had experiences I thought I’d never achieve. I’ve pushed my limits and have become far more outgoing than I was.If I had to give any advise before joining, it’d be to know what you’re getting into. The membership fee was pricey for me and initially my work schedule made it difficult to attend most events. Make sure your benefit outweighs the cost. For me it does and I hope it will for you too.👍

When I moved to Seattle there was so many things that I wanted to do. The only problem was I didn’t know what all there was to do and I didn’t have anyone to do it with. Since joining I’ve done so many things that I never knew that I would get a chance to do. Most importantly I’ve made a lot of good friends along the way. Emiline our Event coordinator works really hard at getting out and exploring Seattle and the surrounding areas despite the complications of the current pandemic. Events and Adventures has been a game changer for me. I’m not exactly sure what my life would have been like if I hadn’t joined. Some of my most memorable events were the camping trips, the fancy dinners, themed holiday parties and the casual hang outs where we meet up for dinner and just have a great time.

I have been to Mardi Gras in New Orleans, skydiving, knife forging, camping and many many more thing. Emeline the event coordinator has through out the Covid pandemic to keep events going by setting up many virtual events along with in person events while keeping everybody safe. In the time I have joined E&A I made several new friends and also gained a new relationship with someone who I never thought would hit every check mark on my absolute must have to change my deemed status of single forever. Great club – nothing else like it!One of the best things about Events and Adventures is the screening. A major plus about the club is that they weed-out the people you don’t want to be meeting. So for example if someone is not financially stable or personally stable then they typically get weeded-out or weed themselves out. It’s never meat-markety because people are vetted and committed to being there. Because everyone has been screened it’s typically a very warm and welcoming group. There is certainly plenty of opportunity to develop lasting, authentic connections. People make lifetime friendships with other members all the time and a lot of members have gotten married. Members are typically fun, professional, and financially stable. Committing to a self-investment and paying for it says a lot about someone’s priorities – these are the quality people you want to be meeting.There is a professional event coordinator for each club as well as a separate trips coordinator. Then each event has either the event coordinator or a member-host leading the event. As a professional group it is extremely organized (versus a public group where members are setting up events which can be problematic). Also, 2/3 of the activities are included; the last 1/3 of events that do have a cost (like skydiving or trips, etc) are usually at a discount. It is completely up to the member as far as how much they spend beyond the cost of membership; it’s quite easy to go only to free events every week and make plenty of friends and quality people of the opposite sex. There is a standard membership agreement as you will find with every member-based organization. If you qualify for membership then there are discounts available when you interview. The overall cost is nominal.Frankly if I could point to any negatives it would be that there are no guarantees – the club can’t control if you don’t go so if you don’t attend then you don’t meet anyone. When you go, any day of the week you’ll meet tons of vetted, quality single people while doing some really cool bucket-list adventures! Whether you meet the love of your life is up to you. There is nothing like it out there.

I love E&A. I have had an amazing time with the club, and I absolutely believe it’s the best option for any of you looking for something different than the current dating model. (swipe right) If you go in for an interview make sure to set it up with Ian in Bellevue. For any of the negative comments, those are from the babies who didn’t find their dream girl on the first event and want their money back. I’ve met many awesome people in the club and am still dating my second girlfriend from E&A. Due to the connections and size of the club, you’re going to get infinitely better value signing up here, than the smaller upstart competitors who will charge you the same price if not more. I LOVE this social club! There is literally something to do every day of the week depending on what you’re into. The Events Manager and Coordinator Austin is readily available to answer questions about events and is always amiable and lively. He listens to suggestions and values feedback. He’s truly an asset to the club! I have been a member going on a little over half a year now and have not once regretted it. I’ve met some fun and amazing new people, had life changing experiences and been to some places I never knew existed right here in this state! Events & Adventures is a lot of fun! The members are smart and quirky – perfect for Seattle! We encompass a wide variety of professions in Western Washington. When I was a new member, the idea of walking in and knowing no one felt intimidating to me, but everyone was really warm and welcoming! I’ve made some amazing friends here.Our event manager, Tayler plans truly wonderful events! She puts so much effort into making sure the details are just right. She goes above and beyond, always on-call for any questions or concerns that members have. She makes sure to plan each month’s events in such a way that there’s always something for everyone: outdoor adventuring (year-round), and indoor fun. Everything from skydiving (indoor & outdoor), to book clubs, bowling, trivia night, and karaoke. Don’t forget the river float trips! This is a group of people who are a blast, having fun doing events that are planned perfectly!

E&A was exactly what I was looking for: a place to establish a new social circle with the possibility of romance if things click. They don’t do anything to set up matchmaking or otherwise push the romance angle which keeps things natural and fun. I’ve greatly enjoyed the variety and quality of events they come up with, especially with their newest event coordinator Taylor. They do it all: everything from hikes, skydiving, Broadway plays, escape rooms, arcades, pub-crawls and sporting events. I feel like there is always something worth experiencing going on. And, because you keep running into the same people you really get to know each-other, which is what it’s all about. My favorite event so far was this last New Year Eve party which was a masquerade party on a yacht on Lake Union; total blast!If your priority is forming new authentic connections with people, there is no better way.

Interviewing at Events and Adventures with Cheri was very inspiring. Based upon her enthusiasm, I was anxious to join the club. I am so thankful she invited me to join. To be honest, I looked into a singles service the prior week. They wanted ~$8,500 upfront for access to their service that would match men with women. So, when I visited Cheri, I didn’t know what to expect. The initial meeting was great. When I explained that I am new to the area, seeking to meet new friends (both genders) to expand my new circle of friends with common interests and see the sites and enjoy activities in the area but don’t know where to begin, she helped me understand that is exactly the solution they offer.I have only been in the club for two weeks and have already been on several outings, met very nice people, one in particular I would have never had the nerve to approach in public on my own. Events and Adventures provided me this exciting opportunity. In these first two weeks, I also took a clipper trip to Victoria, Canada for a weekend. Fantastic beautiful area and again met new friends. In a few weeks, we’ll be white water rafting. There are activities planned every day for us to select.Each event has a host or hostess to arrange and facilitate events. Very pleased with their interaction level. I would like to give a shout out to Curtis, one of these guides. The others have been very personable and helpful as well.Please let Cheri know I am extremely pleased with my decision to join Events and Adventures. The package appears to be exactly as advertised. UPDATE: Happily married to a great person that I met at E&A nearly 5 years ago! <3I've thoroughly enjoyed exploring the region, getting front-row tickets to the area's most sought-after cultural events, meeting new people and pushing myself out of my comfort zone. E&A is a big investment, for sure, and money well-spent. I highly recommend joining if you're ready to delete the dating apps and engage in quality experiences with others who have made the choice to invest in themselves. E&A would get a 5-star rating from me if they hosted more events south of Seattle.

I joined E and E in December as I was new in Vancouver (originality fromOntario) is definitely kept me sane in especially during the holidays. Most of the events are free, and the ones that aren’t are usually(low cost). Haven’t had the chance to travel and attend physical events yet. I would definitely would like to meet at least one person in Vancouver. Debra was awesome, I got three months free. I have the one year membership. Great club to meet new people especially in times of COVID-19.

Events & Adventures is a club exclusively for singles, so you have a better chance of meeting someone interesting. I joined the Seattle chapter in early 2017. Tayler, Curtis and the other hosts are awesome people. There was an initial learning curve for me to be able to socialize because I didn’t really know a lot of people, which is true for any new group that you join.Having the right mindset helped as I was not trying to speed into anything. The people are quite sociable in general, and once I attended four or five events, I started seeing familiar faces. I met two or three interesting people along the way and I definitely made a few new friends.I enjoy trips that do not require us driving by ourselves such as a ferry ride, a bus trip or a camping trip. I have tried out a bunch of different activities including river tubing, escape room and mingle dinners. There are regular events such as game nights and some very specific events for e.g. karaoke and roller skating. There was also the Nutcracker performance, candle-making and the Oktoberfest Leavenworth bus trip. I have attended about 40 events so far, and I have about seven upcoming ones planned. Events & Adventures is a good place for outdoor activities such as hiking too. We just need to know what it is that we are looking for.Suggesting improvements, it would be really handy to have an app because mobile phones are being used more than desktop computer nowadays. People can do a makeshift thing if they’re already added on Facebook as sharing in media and more streamlining will be quite helpful.

I really do like this club. It is pricey to join albeit I have nothing to compare it to. The lady who signed me up (not an employee anymore) kept raving about how many men I would meet(pass). Truly that was not my intent on joining. I was more concerned with finding like-minded friends that wanted to pursue the same passions I had. Luckily for me, I found said people. I have made some great friends in the club and hope to make several more.

This is an amazing group. I have gone roller skating, escape rooms, hang outs. Rooftop mingles. Trivia nights, glass making. Great food. Some places that I would have never gone. The people are really great and you never know who you will meet.

Moved to Tampa, FL in 2020 and was looking for a way to meet people with similar interests. Saw the ad on Instagram and decided to sign up for a one year membership. The people I met at my first couple events were welcoming. The host of the group does a great job of scheduling indoor and outdoor events that appeal to a wide range of people’s interests.

Looking at the reviews it’s one or the other, either a 5 star review from active members who love it, or a 1 star from someone who lead with skepticism…there is no in between or “oh I kinda liked it, but there was this I didn’t like”, that should tell you something.All of our members who are looking to build genuine connections and share experiences with fun people are having a great time! As it’s been said, I’m having some of the best moments in my life sharing experiences with this group. There are so many activities in the area I wasn’t aware of before and things I’ve wanted to do, but not by myself that the group has given me access to experience that I wouldn’t have on my own. Our event coordinator puts in serious work to make sure everyone is having a great time!As far as it being a group for singles, this is another great aspect of the group. Personally, I’m tired of dealing with the flawed system that is online dating. This is such a nice relief to be in this group where you’re not working harder than you should be to get someone’s attention. Things flow naturally here and everyone’s welcomed, especially new members. And although we are mingling singles, there’s no pressure to actually create a romantic connection, which helps create a chill atmosphere.If you want to experience the Tampa Bay area and beyond to the fullest and meet cool people along the way, this is one of the best ways to do it!

I’m a member of the Tampa Events & Adventures a singles meet up group. Best thing I have “EVER” done. It’s not a dating meet up. But we are all single and do SO MANY FUN things. Lots of people have met their person through the meet ups. Every day there is a different Event or Adventure including Group trips. Even though my group is based in Tampa. I have had the best time joining this group. I originally joined to do fun and exciting things and found out how much more I have gotten out of it. I am new to the area and wanted to avoid going out to bars and talking to strangers that I may have nothing in common with. I had no idea how many things there was to do in the Tampa Bay Area, from going kayaking, to going to sports games, rock climbing, axe throwing, ski diving, ziplining, or chilling in the park playing volleyball. Our event coordinator Rebecca has planned so many great events that there are too many to list here but there is an different event planned every single day. By going to events instead of going to bars, I was able to meet a lot of people over and over again and have become friends with many and since it is a singles social group I ended up meeting the nicest, smartest, prettiest woman I have ever met. We have been dating for a few months now and I would have never met her if it wasn’t for Events and Adventure. If any of what I said resonates with you I would suggest joining our group and let your adventure begin today!!!

I joined almost a year ago when the club first started back up. I joined because I love trying new things and exploring new places, but I was tired of doing it alone most of the time. I love that each week I am trying a new restaurant, a new activity or a exploring new town/area. In the beginning, I thought some of the events seemed a little far, but it was worth it every time to make that trip!The People: I have met some of my bestest friends through this group that I would have never met otherwise, and I cannot put a price on that! The Tampa group is so diverse – from age, background, interests, etc and it is so fun to have all of that diversity bond at each event.My Suggestion for those reading this review wondering about the club – if you join, be PRESENT and INVOLVED. Our amazing Events Coordinator Rebecca is always asking members for suggestions on what they want to do and what is near them to make sure that everyone can attend events.This group has grown so much in the last year and it is only getting better and better!

Been in this group for almost a year now. I started shortly after the group got reestablished here in Tampa. It is so much fun, I have met some absolutely fabulous people and made some life long friends. There is a good mix of events for both the bar crowd and the adventurous people. A good portion of the events are free so whomever is saying only zoom events are free is completely incorrect, please disregard that review!It is still a new group but couples have already been formed! This is a group for singles so it’s an easy environment to meet new people and try new things! 10/10 recommend especially if you’re like me and love to go out and try new things, but hate planning and finding people to do it with.The events are all over the place so no matter what area you’re in you will be able to find something not too far way. There are carpool options so you can also find a buddy near by and drive to events together. The main host Rebecca also takes recommendations/suggestions if there is something you’ve been interested in doing she can put it on the calendar and she is sometimes able to get group discounts!

I really enjoy E&A! There are a lot of events to choose from and over the past few months, the Tampa Bay club sometimes offers multiple events on the same day/night! A few things to keep in mind: MOST of the events are in Saint Pete and Tampa. Events weekdays start the between 6:30-7pm. Finally, it is a great group, but it is a pricey membership.

Strongly recommend this activity club for singles! It is a great way to try new things and meet new friends from different areas of Vancouver. I never would have done half the things I’ve done with E&A if it weren’t for joining the group. Every event that I’ve been to was fun, and I always meet at least one new person at each event. This club is perfect for singles who want to get out and try something new.

I joined this group in 2021 right after my divorce. I wasn’t sure what to expect, I just knew that I needed to get out of the rut I was in. The co-vid restrictions were lifting and the timing was perfect! I was looking for a safe environment to meet people and let me say that I have rarely found a more welcoming group of people, than the people at Events and Adventures. In this group, I have met some amazing people, shared some irreplaceable memories and been able to experience activities I would have not been able to experience had I tried to do things on my own. There was something for everyone, and every budget. No pressure to do any event you aren’t comfortable doing, but I recommend trying something new two to three times a month if you can. Go in with the expectation that you are going to meet fun singles, and you won’t be disappointed!

I have been a member since 2016 and have many great experiences with Events and Adventures. I’ve gone on many Weekend trips and even one to New Orleans and met a group from the USA. I have been white water rafting 3 times, gone to Whistler twice in one year for a weekend trip and to the Island for New Years and the May long weekend. There is always something new to try and new places to go every month and I never would have done many of this things if I hadn’t signed up. The hosts have been so great, especially for the bigger events and trips. I have met lots great people over the years.

Love, love, love the Vancouver location and especially their event manager, Impreet (who is the most amazing, sweetest person ever!!). I’ve been a member for just over a year now and just upgraded to a lifetime membership. It is SO worth it! I was a bit hesitant signing up for it because I was 23 years old and did not think there would be a lot of younger people around, however I couldn’t be happier with my decision to sign up. At first, there weren’t any or very few people under 30, but everybody was super welcoming ,nonetheless, and I made great friends. The more events I went to, the more people I got to know and just in the last year, I have seen quite a few new faces that are under 30 or just around that age! Events and Adventure is literally like a big family with so many amazing members and very cool events. Can’t wait until I can see everybody again in person 🤞

If you want to do fun activities and meet some good quality people I suggest joining E & A. I just joined in September and am grateful I did. I have gotten to enjoy several fun things and am looking forward to the big Halloween party coming up. It is nice to have activities planned out, so theres always something fun to do. The club is bunch of adults just having fun which is great!. I have not seen any drama or anyone who isn’t having fun yet. It’s been my happy place to go to.

As a single guy new to Vancouver someone suggested me to try E&A and my experience has been great. The concept is that they have event every day which may be an activity/ sports/ dinner etc plus you have hikes and adventure stuff for the weekends and usually and outdoor camping around long weekends and then there are international holidays. The main reason for me to like this is you get to do all those activities which you haven’t done and explore Vancouver really well. I found great friends in the club and have had some amazing time here.The hosts are really good and they really know how to plan activities. For a person like me who doesn’t own a car the hosts make sure that I get carpool every time.

I’ve really enjoyed being a part of the group and am so happy I joined! It’s a great place to meet new people and there are lots of different activities to choose from each month. The event manager is open to ideas for events and I’ve seen a few of my suggestions on the calendar within a month or two of suggesting them. Any issues that arise are dealt with quickly and if changes are possible to improve a situation, they are.I would recommend the group to anyone who wants an easy way to meet new people and try new things around the city 🙂 I’ve only been a member three months and I’ve met a number of new friends that I do things with outside of club events which to me has made it all worth it.

The main reason I joined E&A is because of it’s safety and security. Every member has been through an interview to ensure they’re a good fit for this social group and those with criminal/sketchy pasts are turned away. Its like a golfer who joins an elite golf club. As a newcomer to Canada, Vancouver specifically, I heard the radio adverts for Events and Adventures and decided to join for the main purpose of getting to meet new people so as to expand my social circle and to also get an idea of the different places there are to visit and the things that people here can do.I have to say that I have been able to successfully check both of these boxes and what I have found the most beneficial from joining E&A is that I have been able to keep adding to a list of friends who I will have for a very long time.At each event you are likely to meet new people and given the vast number of events that are planned each month, there is more then enough to do for everybody of different tastes.Each event is hosted well with my personal favourite hosts being: Kalyn, Michelle, Katie and Sharon.The Event Manager Michelle does an amazing job at organizing the different events that are scheduled and given the number of members in E&A and days there are to fill each month, she exceeds expectations.Overall given the tasks ahead of them and the number of events that are scheduled, there is a phenomenal effort from the E&A Vancouver team and based on my personal experience, it has been an amazing 18 months so far and I am very much looking forward to many more.

I absolutely LOVE this club! I moved to DC a few months ago and came across this club on social media. I joined and it’s been the best part of my life so far! I’m always meeting new people and doing new things around the area- I’ve lived in DC for over 20 years and I’m finding spots with this group that I’ve never been to before!
