E&A offers opportunities to enjoy events around town that I found appealing while allowing me to feel connected to a group even when I did not know anyone. By the time I went to 4-5 events I began to see familiar faces and began to make genuine connections and friendships.
I went into this commitment knowing it would be a financial investment (as it is not cheap), but I disagree with the other reviews describing it as a scam.
The money investment helped me stay committed and kept my focus on being intentional about meeting people and building connections.
My goal was to try to attend one event a week. My membership was flexible and I was able to pause it for a month at a time (up to 3 times) if I was traveling or had a busy month at work.
I am happy to share that I have met many people from all different walks of life and enjoyed the conversations and experiences I participated in over the last year. I made a handful of friends that have brought so much joy and happiness into my life in Houston.

I have met the BEST people in this group! Literal friendships to last a lifetime. If you’re looking for a good time and fun activities to keep you motivated to get up and off the couch we are your people!!

If you have read many of the reviews, it is clear that E&A is not perfect, doubt anywhere is. But, if you are willing to join, put some effort on it, you will make friends from all one the city, country, and world. I have met many wonderful people and have lots of great friends I would have never met without E&A. I have been in for 9 years and am grateful for the people it has brought into my life. I would join it again in a heartbeat. If you join, I have lots of party’s at my house and look forward to meeting you.

Not what I was hoping it would be, and for $2k+ a year I wished there were more activities and less, go to X restaurant/bar and socialize/drink with the occasional trivia. Also, the amount of online events was also off putting, especially the ones that where locked to only 6 or so people.

My honest opinion? If you have spare cash, and your only expectation is to meet new people, it’s not a bad place to go.

So much fun! So many different events everyday, you are bound to find something you like!

When I moved to Houston, I was working from home and didn’t have any kind of network. For fear of becoming a hermit, I joined Events & Adventures and it was a great decision. I have had a great experience meeting people from all over town and had the opportunity to try things I wouldn’t have normally at different events. Best advice is to sign up and show up to anything that interests you!

Events and Adventures is a fantastic place to meet new people and explore the vibrant city of Houston! As a newcomer to Houston I did not knew no one. This group helped me break out of my shell and discover what Houston has to offer. From exciting events to adventurous activities, Events and Adventures provided the perfect platform for me to meet like-minded individuals and build a social network in my new city. I’m so grateful for the warm welcome and opportunities they provided – it’s been a game-changer for me!

This is a fantastic group. Lots of activities and fun ways to meet new people and know the city.

So I joined at the beginning of the year and so far have done 8 events, everyone has been fun and everyone is really nice. The event staff are very friendly and try to keep everyone active and have fun. Morgan and Stephanie have been my favorite so far. If your single and in your late 30’s or early 40’s this is definitely something to try.

Events and Adventures Houston is an amazing social club for singles that has an awesome group of members and an amazing events coordinator (shout out to the Morganizer!) who is an absolute BOSS! Being relatively new to Houston, I didn’t know the city or have friends here but I wanted to get out and enjoy the city with a crew of like minded individuals. E&A was the answer! So many good and organized events with something for everyone. From game nights to cooking classes to adrenaline junkie events and even fully organized international and national trips, this group has it all! Highly recommended!

Fantastic group to join to have events that are thoughtfully planned out. Great way to make contacts and socialize locally or if you travel out of state, you can join in on the happenings that are offered in that locale. The variety of choices has been pleasing, and so far all of the hosts for individual events in my area have been friendly and inviting. If you want to be playful, have fun, meet others that you might not run into in everyday life, and make connections, then give it a try. Probably not a group for someone who wants to be negative or critical of others.

I have been in E&A for five years and have loved every moment. Ive met lots of amazing people to joke, laugh, and just enjoy life to it’s fullest. I met an amazing host -the Morganizer – and I met the love of my life in the group.

JUST DO IT! Absolutely one of the best decisions I have made!
1. Exactly what I was hoping for.
– Seriously, I now have more friends and acquaintances to do more things with. A wide VARIETY of things! Everything from drinks and karaoke to my first trip to Vegas and the Grand Canyon. I was looking forward to travel opportunities and am STOKED about this trip! I am also looking forward to becoming a host.
2. I was INFORMED of exactly what I was getting myself into.
– I’m not sure who everyone else interviewed with, but my guy was thorough. He asked me questions about myself, talked about what Events & Adventures is, how it works, how much it cost, the different ways to pay, discounts for paying in full or signing on the first original call vs. waiting. If I remembered his name I would give him a shout out, I just remember he was from Dallas.
– The website is easy to use and you can see additional costs up front, I was shown an example of this before I signed up so I fully understood.
3. Fun things to do.
– Like I said, there is a wide variety of things to do. Something everyday is awesome and sometimes there are multiple things on the same day. In person and some virtual.
– I am so freakin’ excited about hang gliding this weekend with the Morganizer and others! Morgan was the host at the first event that I attended and did a great job explaining things.
– I’m about to go on a camping trip with the group!
– Should I go skydiving next month?!?!?! I can’t decide!
– You can leave feedback on events after you attend them so the hosts can improve if needed.
P.S. If you don’t pull the trigger before black Friday, do it then. I got a CRAZY AWESOME FREE YEAR added to my contract!!! The deal changes…. but who knows what this year’s deal might be.

Highly recommend if you are wanting to make new friends and try new places and not have to go alone if your new to the city or dont know many people. The calendar has so many different options each month and its so nice its all planned out all you have to do is show up and have fun. I like it because there is no pressure of dating. Everyone in the Houston group is so nice and welcoming, and the hosts are great.

I’ve been part of the Events & Adventures family in Houston for a while now, and it’s genuinely transformed my social life! Every month, there’s a whole calendar of cool events to look forward to. Whether you’re into outdoor adventures, cozy dinners, or trying something totally new, they’ve got you covered. And let me just say, Morgan Pagel is a superstar organizer! She makes sure every event runs smoothly and that everyone has a great time. Thanks to Morgan and the team, I’ve made some amazing friends and memories. If you’re looking to spice up your social life, Events & Adventures is the way to go. 5 stars all the way!

I absolutely LOVE being part of this group! Wonderful people and variety of events every month. I am enjoying it so much, I became a host.

Events & Adventures is such a fun and friendly environment to be comfortable in while meeting new people and exploring new adventures! The group travels all over the city as well as larger trips if you’d like. There is something every day of the month from dancing, painting, breweries to sports, dinner and shows! I met my boyfriend at and event and we don’t think we would have met otherwise!

I joined E&A after moving back to Houston because I was tired of the dating apps and wanted a way to meet people/make friends outside of work. It did exactly that! It’s been so cool to have a calendar of unique events accessible whenever I’m looking for something to do.

Joining Events and Adventures has definitely been one of the best decisions I’ve made in awhile! This group has introduced me to dozens of incredible people I’m happy to call great friends and offers so many opportunities to get out and have fun doing all sorts of different outings and trips. It’s impossible to be bored when you’re a part of E&A!!

I have been a member for over 2 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. I have made life long friends and memories that I will treasure forever. I would recommend anyone join this group. Reid is a wonderful organizer and cares a lot about making sure people are enjoying themselves. Ditch the apps. Spend money meeting real people in your major US city. Total can travel and view other cities and their schedules. I’m at the Double Tree in Greenway Plaza about to party it up with nearly a hundred singles. Hotel room after parties and roaming about this massive hotel. What did you do for new years?

I am so grateful for having Events and Adventures be available in my life when I started my membership and participation in October of 2019. Since participating, I have been a member for over 2 years and I am truly enjoying the perks of membership. I got to try out things I have never done before like goat yoga, hiking, adventure courses, camping and more. I also got to meet some wonderful new girl friends. The best part was being able to meet my now fiance, Cliff, on my first hike in November of 2019. Since meeting we started dating and after two years of having fun with Events and Adventures, we got engaged. Looking back, Events and Adventures gave me an opportunity to re-create my life again after being divorced. The many Events gave me amply opportunities to create fun and connect with new people. I am and will aways be forever grateful for Events and Adventures.
