Just came back recently from a wonderful adventure at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. This was my first trip through Events & Adventures! Nate was a fantastic host and I really enjoyed meeting people from other groups across the country. The Loews Portofino hotel was a great accommodation with a wonderful ambiance. The meals we shared together were absolutely delicious! Using the sorting hat as an icebreaker activity was brilliant too! I would definitely attend another trip in the future.

I’ll have been a member for 2 years this next May and joining has been one of the better choices I’ve made in my adult life. As long as you join with the intent of wanting to go and have experiences and meet new people (whether that turns into something more or not) you’ll have a great time. There is always a great variety of activities, I’ve tried things I never would have imagined or had the courage to try on my own with this club. I’ve also met some of my greatest friends. There are activities for anyone, from extreme sporting to D&D sessions to Musicals, to dinners. If you start going to anything that interests you you’ll find people that are also interested in the same things.

I have been a member for 6 years. I have tried many fun and exciting activities, and I have even checked several things off my bucket list. There are activities to do every day. Some are reoccurring, and some are new.The best part is all the friends I have made. And I continue to make friends and meet new acquaintances.

Great place to find people that enjoy going out to do the things you like to do. Plenty of options, events local and afar. Having a group you know to try new things and experience things you want to do more is reassuring.

Joining this group 6 years ago was one of the best things I’ve done in my life. I’ve had so many wonderful adventures from Kenya to Alaska to Sky diving to glassblowing. The list goes on and on. The dear friends I’ve made will be with me for a lifetime. I love being able to just check the calendar and have something to do whenever I want. Last year I got a personal best and attended 110 events for the year 😎

I have been a part of this social club for a little over 6 months. It has been a fantastic experience for me. I joined for the obvious reasons of trying to meet people but I also wanted to go and do things I have never had the ability to experience by myself. Skydiving? Axe throwing? That fancy restaurant that you have been looking at but to scared to try? I’ve had the ability to try them all! Once you join you can (and are encouraged to) suggest events, attractions and ideas to a very receptive event coordinator. They go out of their way to make sure every idea suggested is considered and tried.TLDR: I recommend this club to anyone trying to find new ways of meeting people and trying new things!

I have been a member for about a year. I joined because I am a social person and enjoy doing different things with other people. At my age (0ver 40 ☺️) it is hard to find people to go do stuff with. Events and adventures is the perfect group for me. I have met so many great people. I always feel welcome at every event. Most recently there was a a Fourth of July party (although it was on July 1st). I cannot tell you how much fun it was! I am so glad I joined E&A! I cannot recommend it more!

I have been a member for 1.5 years now and I have been enjoying it really well. There are many activities to choose from and even if you want to try something they are always taking suggestions to try. I myself love the theatre, concerts, parties for the bigger group of people to get to know but also also the smaller groups when we go mini golf, or movie night, or try a new restaurant. The best of both! You are always meeting new people. Everyone is very welcoming and fun and it’s a great way for me to get out and try new things.

I have been a member for almost 14 years now, and it’s been some of the best times of my life! There are so many activities to choose from, and you never know what you’ll end up trying that you wouldn’t try on your own! Joined E&A over 3 1/2 years ago, and have made numerous new friends and participated in activities new to me and would likely not have been introduced to had I not elected to become a member of Events & Adventures. Events such as Whirleyball, white water rafting, trapeze, archery tag just to name a few…..Although I have yet to meet “the one”, I’ve also met several lovely ladies whom I’ve dated after getting to know them while participating in fun activities.I’d highly recommend Events & Adventures to anyone of any age group looking to meet new people and/or for additional excitement, adventure in their lives and to fill their social calendar!

This group is a great way to get out and meet new people especially if you’re new the city like myself. You meet a wide group of people especially on the weekend trips with other cities. I have done events and activities with this group that I otherwise wouldn’t have known existed!

Absolutely worth it. If you’re new to the city, recently divorced, looking for new friends, or just looking for some new experiences, joining this group is a great idea. If you’ve outgrown your college friends or they all went and got married and you’re the last single one, you will be one of many here. There are activities every weeknight and often two events per day on the weekends.

They consistently schedule activities on an almost daily basis. It’s a great way to meet people while engaging in a fun activities. They do all the planning– you just decide when to show up.

This group provides a tremendous opportunity to meet new people and explore the city! The events cover a wide variety of activities, some of which I had never even heard of before. This is a great chance to get out of your comfort zone, or continue to embrace activities you love with a fun group of people. Everyone in the club is very friendly, and extremely welcoming from day one. There was no awkward transition phase; you instantly become one of the family that this group is. I would absolutely recommend this group to someone looking to meet new people while pursuing your current passions and discovering new ones.

If you are debating on joining this club I highly recommend it! It showed me how many different activities you can do that I never even knew was out there. The one activity that I signed up for that was my highlight in joining this club was going skydiving! Never thought I’d get the opportunity to do this. Thanks to E&A they made it possible. So far, it has been a great experience that gets me out of the house and trying new activities. The people I have met are all very nice and welcoming. I am looking forward to attending more events soon.

It’s an investment, but I think it’s worth it. You pretty much have a personal event planner! There are events every day of the week, if not more than 1 a day. Heather (event coordinator) is super fun and always open to suggestions or requests from members. We just tell her what we want to do and she plans everything for us! Great mix of people and lots of opportunities to try new things!

I have been having the time of my life since I joined Events and Adventures! I used to be a home body, but now I am out doing things I didn’t even realize I wanted to try. The events range from thrill seeking zip lining to dinner out, game night or book club. There is something for everyone. I will be forever grateful for the relationships gained from this experience.

As an immediate disclaimer, I want to say that everyone’s experience will depend on what city they live in and what they’re looking for.First off, I’ve read several reviews saying E&A isn’t providing the types of people that they want to date. I’ll say right off the bat that the ratio of guys:girls in the Minneapolis club is about 45:55, so pretty even. Determining your “dating” success in E&A is dependent on who you’re interested in dating, and who else is in the club when you join.On a different note, the staff is polite and professional. The events coordinator does great work making sure there is actually an event every day. The only time an event is cancelled is if the weather is bad, so if it’s snowstorming or if it’s too cold/hot/windy/etc to do what was planned. I’ve only had trouble getting a refund for an event once, and it involved calling Accounting… as soon as you do that, then you get the refund. But I will say I’ve never tried to get a full refund of my membership.I did experience a decent amount of pressure to join the club, but I decided to take a chance and join, even if the price was hefty up front. Through E&A, I’ve managed to meet and converse with many interesting people that I certainly wouldn’t have met otherwise, and I’ve been able to try tons of interesting activities that I wouldn’t have thought of to try on my own.I will say that from what I’ve read, and from what I understood of my conversation during the interview, it’s hard to back out of the contract once you sign it. Also, the monthly payments are pretty expensive, especially considering the additional cost of specific events. And…. I heard that if you cancel your membership at the end, instead of renewing right away, then it pretty much voids your membership, meaning you’re ineligible for a lifetime membership (lifetime membership = big savings $$$). Joining E&A is definitely a huge commitment, and you need to make sure you’re ready for it both financially, and location-wise.But all-in-all, your Events & Adventures experience is what you make of it. The company and situation are not perfect, but if you have an optimistic perspective, then you can use it to meet new people you wouldn’t normally meet, do activities you normally wouldn’t do, and to have a good time on the weekends and weeknights.

Been in the cities for awhile and with my work schedule, I was not finding time to meet others. With this club it takes all the hassle of deciding what to do and when easy. All you do is figure out what days you’re off and sign up for an event that day. They have carpool options for people who dont wish to drive and if you wish to you can catch an uber instead.

I have been in E & A for about 10 months and it is the best decision I’ve ever made. Before I would sit at home and just watch TV but now I’m getting out and doing things I’ve always wanted to but never found anyone who wanted to do them with me. I haven’t been in the group for long but so far I’ve really enjoyed the people I’ve met and the events I’ve attended. I started right before Valentine’s so I was nervous that this would be a bunch of single people that already knew one another and I’d be an outsider in their group. The host of the event who I guess helped plan it was very bubbly and welcoming and everyone there seemed genuinely excited about the group! I really recommend this for anyone looking for fun things to do and fun people to do it with!
